Neighbor Discovery — or ND — is the protocol used by IPv6 to determine neighbouring hosts, and will replace ARP which was used in IPv4. It will perform similar tasks of the Address Resolution Protocol (ARP)

    So ARP 100%

@Confuse guy – you can’t populate your ARP table withouth ICMP request. If only given one choice, I’d go with ICMP.

@sims, I get your logic about ARP table population, but ICMP wasn’t replaced by NDP. Arp was replaced by NDP.

Alright guys – passed with 8xx. Used Dokodo, Chinese and Dexter. Most importantly I studied for over two months before even looking at dumps.

    I had 5 DnD.
    DND:
    Authentication, Accounting and Authorization.
GRE – IPsec, keepalive, mgre, mss, tunnel key
Frame Relay – Dlci, fcn, lmi, pvc and svc
assymetric routing, out of order packet, tcp starvation, latency
    The New DHCP DnD

Only 1 Eval Simlet: EIGRP Eval

I had two Sims: Policy Based Routing and EIGRP Stub

Some Q’s I remember having. I added some notes to them.

Pay attention, MANY of the questions we’ve compiled on here are on the exam but they’re formatted or phrased different. So just research the questions.

TShoot was a breeze, learn the network and the tickets. The first thing i did was to go into the PC an type ipconfig if I received an ip i proceeded to ping R1 down to ASW. Where the ping stops is most likely the problem. For example is you cannot ping R1 it’s one of three issue. You will learn the problems for each device and troubleshoot from there.
