Q: What Authentication does EIGRP use? (2 choices)
I disagree for C. EIGRP do not support plain text, only MD5 and SHA :
router eigrp 1
authentication mode {hmac-sha-256 | md5}
Hello,
I’ve just passed with 8xx.
I will keep you updated in a few hours. I’ve noted what i remember.
Great Zoltam!
Share us what you remember so that I can reschedule my exam this month
@Sousuke
What Authentication does EIGRP use? (2 choices)
A. TKIP
B. MD5
C. Plain Text
D. WPA
No SHA in the choices and it’s asking you to choose 2.
@ Sousuke
you are rigtht, we are still confuse about the one
EIGRP supports MD5 authentication in Classic (Autonomous System) Mode, and both MD5 and SHA-256 in Multi-AF (Named) Mode. For MD5 authentication in both Classic and Named modes, the key chain is defined globally. The key chain can contain multiple keys, but only the lowest active key number will be exchanged in EIGRP packets. Note that the key ID must match for authentication to occur, because this number is exchanged in the hello packets. In Classic Mode, the authentication is applied at the link level, whereas in Named Mode it is applied at the af-interface mode under the SAFI. In either case, the authentication can be verified as seen below:

Many thanks!
Hi all,
I’m preparing the Route exam. Can you tell me on which page to find valid dumps and which labs enter the exam?
Beforehand thank you very much.
@Nickname
In last 10 pages, it’s not difficult to find it
@Tshaka_Zulu I also found it and used it. It looks like someone has collected all the questions from other dumps, but since Dexter, EOL, Dokdo Dumps are not valid and the questions come from these dumps, I think it is good practice but not enough to to take the exam. But only it is my opinion.
Thank you very much for your prompt response @art,
I’ll look for it
@Tshaka_Zulu, how did you open the ETE file?
Took 300-101 this morning and failed. Had the following 4 sims
EIGRP Stub Sim
Policy Based Routing Sim
EIGRP Evaluation Sim
OSPF Evaluation Sim
Used the following items
Cisco.Examcollection.300-101.v2016-04-16.premium.149q
MeasureUp CCNP 300-101 Practice Material
Cisco.PracticeTest.300-101.v2017-10-10.by.Easton.79q
Many topics on the exam was not in these materials.
@Graf
Could you provide any question any topic for us ?
Guys there are trolls on this forum faking updates. The Route just went through an update and wouldnt make sense to go through another update. There are people who are stating that they have passed with EON/Dokdo dumps yesterday and the day before. Im pretty sure the trollers here are the ppl who are trying to market their products
@Zoltmam,
I’d say the answer is C ? on the NTP question.

Q:Which cisco Express Forwarding component(s) contain forwarding information? (forwarding information, they changed it)
A. FIB, adjacency table
B. adjacency table.
C. FIB, RIB , Adjanceny table
D. FIB
E. RIB
Correct Answer: A
Explanation: Cisco Express Forwarding (CEF) switching is a proprietary form of scalable switching intended to tackle the problems associated with demand caching. With CEF switching, the information which is conventionally stored in a route cache is split up over several data structures. The CEF code is able to maintain these data structures in the Gigabit Route Processor (GRP), and also in slave processors such as the line cards in the 12000 routers. The data structures that provide optimized lookup for efficient packet forwarding include:
The Forwarding Information Base (FIB) table – CEF uses a FIB to make IP destination prefix-based switching decisions. The FIB is conceptually similar to a routing table or information base. It maintains a mirror image of the forwarding information contained in the IP routing table. When routing or topology changes occur in the network, the IP routing table is updated, and these changes are reflected in the FIB. The FIB maintains next-hop address information based on the information in the IP routing table.
Because there is a one-to-one correlation between FIB entries and routing table entries, the FIB contains all known routes and eliminates the need for route cache maintenance that is associated with switching paths such as fast switching and optimum switching.
Adjacency table – Nodes in the network are said to be adjacent if they can reach each other with a single hop across a link layer. In addition to the FIB, CEF uses adjacency tables to prepend Layer 2 addressing information. The adjacency table maintains Layer 2 next-hop addresses for all FIB entries.

Q:Which of these can be used for IPv4 to IPv6 communication? (new question, not sure of the exact phrasing)
A. NAT-PT
B. ISATAP
C. L2 to L3 VPN (something like this)
D. IPSec (not sure
Correct Answer: A
NAT-PT Overview
Network Address Translation (NAT)-Port Translation (PT) for Cisco software based on RFC 2766 and RFC 2765 is a migration tool that helps customers transition their IPv4 networks to IPv6 networks. Using a protocol translator between IPv6 and IPv4 allows direct communication between hosts that use different network protocols. You can use static, dynamic, port address translation, IPv4-mapped definitions for NAT-PT operation.
The figure below shows that NAT-PT runs on a device that is configured between an IPv6 network and an IPv4 network that helps connect an IPv6-only node with an IPv4-only node.

For the question:
How can you mitigate fragmentation issues between endpoints separated by a GRE tunnel? < (they changed it, they added GRE)
A. PMTU (the D was not present at the end of the answer)
B. TCP MSS
C. windowing
D. ICMP DF bit (this was a new answer)
Correct Answer: A
I think that correct answer is B
there are two ways to mitigate fragmentation ((MSS & PMTUD))
PMTUD : it was originaly developed for that.
But here as the choices says PMTU not PMTUD
so the correct answer is B (MSS)
Q:Which cisco Express Forwarding component(s) contain forwarding information? (forwarding information, they changed it)
A. FIB, adjacency table
B. adjacency table.
C. FIB, RIB , Adjanceny table
D. FIB
E. RIB
Correct Answer: A
I think that the correct answer is D (FIB)
FIB has the forwarding information but the adjacency table just has the layer 2 addressing of the next hop addresses
which scenario can asymmetric routing occur?
A. active/active firewall setup
B. single path in and out of the network.
C. active/standby firewall setup
D. redundant routers running VRRP
Correct Answer: A
I Think that the answer is (D) as digitaltut says
See The Book CCNP Routing and Switching ROUTE 300-101 Official Cert Guide Kevin Wallace (Topic: Asymmetric Routing)
you will find that FHRP (for example, HSRP, VRRP, or GLBP) causes Asymmetric Routing.
And for active/active firewall it is impacted by the asymetric routing but it isn't the cause of it by itself.
Please verify me if my thoughts is right or wrong
@Zoltam
Thanks for the feed back!
@Somebody
How can you mitigate fragmentation issues between endpoints separated by a GRE tunnel? < (they changed it, they added GRE)
A. PMTU (the D was not present at the end of the answer)
B. TCP MSS
C. windowing
D. ICMP DF bit (this was a new answer)
I remember this, D was not present in PMTU so basically it is just a Path MTU without discovery.
I think the correct answer is B.
Q:Which cisco Express Forwarding component(s) contain forwarding information? (forwarding information, they changed it)
A. FIB, adjacency table
B. adjacency table.
C. FIB, RIB , Adjanceny table
D. FIB
E. RIB
Correct Answer: A
I think I will go with A (FIB, Adjacency Table)
CEF maintains two tables in the data plane. the FIB for layer 3 forwarding information, whereas the adjacency table maintains the layer 2 information for next hops listed in FIB.
I think the answers are B and A
@Zoltam
your shared dump is valid? bro
if you say yes I will study
Hi All,
Could you please tell me if its possible to pass this exam using the examples from 9TUT ?
Thanks everyone.
