    One more thing to share, pass4sure is gone case, no question from pass4sure. They are so backdated. Dexter digitaltut will be enough. And must practice in some dilator like packet tracer or gns3 , and also understand the topics not just memorise, because 20 percent question can be twisted

    February 5th, 2018

    @Pink
    Sorry, 3. Redistri, EIGRP Stub, PBR. Details below:

    ======
    EIGRP Stub
    ======

    R3#show running-config
    R3#configure terminal
    R3(config)#router eigrp 123
    R3(config-router)#no eigrp stub receive-only
    R3(config-router)#eigrp stub
    R3(config-router)#end
    R3#show ip route

    R4>enable
    R4#configure terminal
    R4(config)#interface s0/0
    R4(config-if)#ip summary-address eigrp 123 10.2.0.0 255.255.0.0

    R3#show ip route

    2 subnets

    But in your real exam, if you see the line “10.0.0.0/8 is a summary,….Null0” then you need to summary using the network 10.0.0.0/8 with the command “ip summary-address eigrp 123 10.0.0.0 255.0.0.0” . This configuration is less optimize than the first but it summaries into 2 subnets as the question requires (maybe you will not see this case, don’t worry!).

    ======
    OSPF Redistribution
    ======

    R2#show interface s0/0/0

    Bandwidth=1544 Kbit, Delay=20000 us, Reliability=255, Load=1, MTU=1500 bytes

    R2#config terminal
    R2(config)# router ospf 1
    R2(config-router)# redistribute eigrp 100 metric-type 1 subnets
    R2(config-router)#exit
    R2(config-router)#router eigrp 100
    R2(config-router)#redistribute ospf 1 metric 1544 2000 255 1 1500

    R3#show interface fa0/0

    Bandwidth=10000 Kbit, Delay=1000 us, Reliability=255, Load=1, MTU=1500 bytes

    R3#config terminal
    R3(config)#router ospf 1
    R3(config-router)#redistribute eigrp 100 metric-type 1 subnets
    R3(config)#exit
    R3(config-router)#router eigrp 100
    R3(config-router)#redistribute ospf 1 metric 10000 100 255 1 1500

    Finally you should try to “show ip route” to see the 172.16.100.1 network (the network behind R4) in the routing table of R1 and make a ping from R1 to this network.

    Note: If the link between R2 and R3 is FastEthernet link, we must put the command below under EIGRP process to make traffic from R1 to go through R3 (R1 -> R2 -> R3 -> R4), which is better than R1 -> R2 -> R4.

    R2(config-router)# distance eigrp 90 105

    ======
    PBR
    ======

    BorderRouter(config)#access-list 101 permit tcp any any eq www

    BorderRouter(config)#route-map pbr permit 10
    BorderRouter(config-route-map)#match ip address 101
    BorderRouter(config-route-map)#set ip next-hop 10.1.101.1
    BorderRouter(config-route-map)#exit

    BorderRouter(config-route-map)#exit
    BorderRouter(config)#int fa0/0
    BorderRouter(config-if)#ip policy route-map pbr
    BorderRouter(config-if)#exit
    BorderRouter(config)#exit

    BorderRouter#show route-map

    In the output you will see the line “Policy routing matches: 9 packets…”. It means that the route-map we configured is working properly.

    Drag n Drop, valid per 5/2/18
    ===================

    LMI
    Address registration – allows neighbouring cisco devices to exchange the management ip addresses
    Global addressing – Enables Frame Relay to identify interfaces in same manner as LAN
    Multicasting – provides most efficient transmission of routing protocol messages and support address resolution
    simple flow control – supports devices that are unable to use congestion notification
    Virtual circuit – Prevents data from being transmitted in Black Hole

    IPv6 Security
    IPv6 traffic Filtering
    It filters traffic at the interface level
    It supports tagged ACLS
    IPv6 Access Classes
    It controls traffic to and from the router
    It requires the destination address of the inbound traffic to be a local address.
    It filters management traffic

    Router
    Passes logon information to the TACAS+ server
    Prompts the user for username and password
    TACACS+ Server
    Authenticates the user
    Authorises the user
    User
    Attempts to access the router
    Provides access credentials

    Frame Relay components
    + SVC: A circuit that provides temporary on-demand connections between DTEs
    + LMI: A signaling mechanism for Frame Relay devices
    + DLCI: A locally significant ID
    + FECN: An indicator of congestion on the network
    + PVC: A logical connection comprising two endpoints and a CIR

    mGRE: Protocol to connect multiple destinations
    IPSec: Protocol used to secure connection
    Keepalive: Used to keep other side if tunnel interface up with local side is up
    Tunnel Key: Used to authenticate connection
    MSS: Amount of data that a device can handle as unfragmented piece

    DMVPN
    hub -> there is a word (next-hop server)
    spoke -> “device …. dynamic address”
    nhrp -> ” protocol
    mgre -> “multi tunnel endpoint”

    Hi all,
    Successfully completed the exam today with 8** marks.
    Thank you very much, @Dexter @EO @Digitaltut @Weirdo @Werewolf and thanks for all who contributed to this page.
    DnD – LMI, DMVPN, Router-TACACS-User, Frame Relay ( SVC, DLCI, PVC, FECN, LMI).
    SIMs – EIGRP stub, EIGRP ospf redistribution, PBR.
    pls read the Sims and understand the concept clearly. Then it will be easier. Read the new questions from the earlier comments & DnD, read Dexter and EO dumps. It will be easier to clear.

    Thanks once again and all the best for all.

    PADI (PPPoE Active Discovery Initiation)
    ABOUT THE PPPoE:
    Expanding off potential new question where people are talking about [PADO/PADI] — this refers to PPPoE:
    PPPoE requires certain signals and information to establish, accept, control and terminate the session. The basic signalling is shown below.
    A PADI (PPPoE Active Discovery Initiation) broadcast signal is sent by the host to the remote devices.
    A PADO (PPPoE Active Discovery Offer) signal is sent by the remote device back to the host.
    A PADR (PPPoE Active Discovery Request) unicast signal is sent by the host to the remote device.
    A PADS (PPPoE Active Discovery Session-Confirmation) is sent by the remote device back to the host.
    A PADT (PPPoE Active Discovery Terminate) signal is sent to terminate a PPPoE session. It is the proper way to terminate a session but is not the actual cause for the
    termination. The cause may be a simple timeout, a manual request by either end, or an out of spec line condition.

    I studied in one week from Weirdo answer (several pages back, cannot reposted again, dunno why), SKR answer (I’ve reposted above), Jitter answer (I’ve reposted above), EON dump (76q, search in several pages back, PDF & VCE available), Dexter dump (400q, search in several pages back, PDF & VCE available), Lab Sim from digitaltut (Redistri, Stub, PBR). Study throughly, pray, and you will pass.

    Finally I got my CCNP RS. My path: switch(mid ’17)-tshoot(late ’17)-route(early ’18). All completed in less than one year. And this late February will be 1st anniversary of my CCNA RS.

    Still need to prove my certificates in real word though. :)

    Best luck to y’all!

    passed with 956 Route ,
    all questions from EON dump and dexter dump , some of them had the options changed in order and some reworded , but the same , except within 4~6 new Q not in both dump

    exam >> 53 Q ,

    5 DND >> (LMI // Frame Relay components // Router, User and AAA Server //DMVPN, hub, spoke, nhrp and mGRE )

    3 LAB >> (PBR, Eigrp Stub with summarization and Redistribution).
    Note: in Redistribution the most probably you will find the link between R2 and R3 is Fast-Ethernet link, we must put the command below under EIGRP process to make traffic from R1 to go through R3
    R2(config-router)# distance eigrp 90 105

    ** Also Note : the show run works but the copy run start not
    So don’t worry when you try to save config, cause a msg “comand not implemented” will appear ,,, just skip & go on .

    >> “Tap button ” not work .

    Can anyone confirm whether or not the EON dump is sufficient enough to study alone? I know they generally pull questions at random from a large repository of questions, but I’m sure over time, many of the questions in the dumps become invalid and are removed from the batch. Has anyone ONLY studied the EON dump and passed? How accurate was it? THANKS!!

    @seven7
    No. You should read my comment above. EON dump alone won’t help.

    @2PAC
    I have share it all above.

    @ccnp_route
    Is it dexter dump? if yes, it’s still valid. if no, search dexter dump. Or you can read my comment above.

    @ALL
    if the vce’s not working then you should check the original EON’s vce, several pages back, around 83-85. Mine’s working, on desktop vce player, and android vce player.

    5 x DnDs:

    Router
    Passes logon information to the TACAS+ server
    Prompts the user for username and password
    TACACS+ Server
    Authenticates the user
    Authorises the user
    User
    Attempts to access the router
    Provides access credentials

    Frame Relay components
    + SVC: A circuit that provides temporary on-demand connections between DTEs
    + LMI: A signaling mechanism for Frame Relay devices
    + DLCI: A locally significant ID
    + FECN: An indicator of congestion on the network
    + PVC: A logical connection comprising two endpoints and a CIR

    mGRE: Protocol to connect multiple destinations
    IPSec: Protocol used to secure connection
    Keepalive: Used to keep other side if tunnel interface up with local side is up
    Tunnel Key: Used to authenticate connection
    MSS: Amount of data that a device can handle as unfragmented piece

    DMVPN
    hub -> there is a word (next-hop server)
    spoke -> “device …. dynamic address”
    nhrp -> ” protocol
    mgre -> “multi tunnel endpoint”
