Thank you soooo musch!
I’m taking my exam tomorrow morning, hope I wont bring any new questions :)
I wish you goodluck Maja, i have some more questions but you probably have seen them, i will post them in about 3 hours.

@ST, congratulations! Is there anything you think you can add?
@Weirdo
New DNS about meaning.. etc!! What is DNS? Do you mean DND?
@weirdo : I think, global addressing, multicasting is about FRAME RELAY LMI types
virtual circuit status messages— The only common extension
Multicasting messages— Optional LMI extension
Global addressing messages— Optional LMI extension
Simple flow control— Optional LMI extension
The derivatives of the LMI Consortium were formally adopted as T1.617 Annex D and Q.933 Annex A. The first group of messages, known as the
virtual circuit status messages, are the only common LMI (adopted by all vendors) extensions
I believe the drag and drop could also be for IPv6, since address registration, Global addressing, and multicasting all applies to Ipv6.
Can anyone who took the exam please explain this DnD in detail?
@Beast, sorry that was a mistake, i was going to type DnD.
Guys, pls look into the update i posted above and make corrections, that way we can improve the new questions.
There is actually 13 questions, then they are repeated
2) Choose best IP SLA life cycle
1- Baseline network performance (verify network readiness for new service)
2- Understand network performance baseline (confidence to deploy new ip service and applications)
3- Fine tune and optimize (ongoing measurements to understand the behavior with proactive notification)
4- Quantity results
7) DnD about LMI extensions not IP SLA
Global addressing – gives FR DLCI values global significance rather than local. DLCI values become DTE addresses that are unique to FR WAN. Individual network interfaces and the end nodes attached to them, for example, can be identified by using standard address-resolution and discovery techniques
LMI virtual circuit status messages provide communication and synchronization between Frame Relay DTE and DCE devices. These messages are used to periodically report on the status of PVCs
The LMI multicasting extension allows multicast groups to be assigned
And I think somebody mentioned keepalive messages but I didn’t find anything about them
what about question 6
the answer is NATv6 or it should be NAT64?

@Maja, did you Test yet?
hi to all exam takers who passed
what did you use in EIGRP STUB sim for r4 route summarization:
ip summary-address eigrp 123 10.2.0.0 255.255.240.0 (a /20 subnet)
or
ip summary-address eigrp 123 10.2.0.0 255.255.0.0 (a /16 subnet)
Eigrp stub….use /16 mask
do we need to use route-map PBR permit 20 in the PBR sim? or not?
@Mikayla
No you don’t need. It has been discussed a lot of posts above.
@EIGRP STUB
You must write all networks in binary view and find the longest shared part. /20 is valid.
10.2.2.0/24
10.2.4.0/24
10.2.5.0/24
10.2.6.0/24

10.2.0000|1000.0/24
10.2.0000|1001.0/24
mask
255.255.11110000.0 = /20 = 255.255.240.0
Anyone can share the new question and new dnd? please!
Thanks
@murphy
Read posts above.
@Warewolf, fortunately you won’t have to go through all that CIDR calculation, you have to be classful in the mask address so it can encompass all addresses. You should only use masks like /8, /16, /24. Please read more for further details.
@Sméagol
Is it exam engine’s limitation? If no I think we should be more exactly when we are describing a summary route.
In real life if you are making non-exact classful summarization a routing “black hole” can occur.
To all those who share information, guys I passes 8xx today, the new questions as outlined above yes its true. I had the router, tacacs+, user DnD, hub, spoke DnD, and the Lab Redistribute Eigrp & ospf, PBR route map, Eigrp Stub. Questions Dexter still valid, please go through your drag and drops properly.
All the best.
passed today with 920 score. i got around 20 new questions, thanks to @EO and @Sniper for the hints, they were very useful. special thanks to Dexter, it was 50% valid.
some of the questions:
– what does the show ip flow … command do
– what causes urpf to fail
– ntp authentication/trusted keys
– DND lmi extensions, global addressing, registration, multicasting, simple flow control, message statuses
– DND about DMVPM
a topology with eigrp, a hub and two spokes, where the loopback of the spokes are not seeing each others. i chose to disable split horizon on the hub
– redistribute from rip into ospf command ( an answer with ip ranges, two answers with ip summary option)
– in the PADI, PADR, please read the type of the messages(unicast, broadcast), and the sender/receiver of each one (client/server)
I did 10.2.0.0 255.255.0.0 and I passed with a 891.
hi everybody, passed my exam with 963
all of new questions are listed above, had DnD about LMI extensions, read carefully about that and you will be able to do it right, Q abot IP SLA deployment cycle, Q about NTP authentication (not sure I answered it right)…labs were redistribution, PBR and Eigrp stub
in eigrp lab you can’t do summary with 255.255.240.0 mask, the router wont accept it, so do it like here
in redistribution lab there is Ethernet link between R2 and R3 so you have to do distance eigrp 90 105 and of course with sh interface command you find all metric values
Read about those PADI, PADO, PADR messages, are they broadcast or unicast, are they sent by the client or server…
there was one Q with network toplogy, it is OSPF network and the router is redistributing RIP. Q is how to summarize those routes. You do summarization on ASBR so the answer is #summary-address …I made a mistake here cause I chose #ip summary-address…so be careful
good like :)
@Maja, what about Statefull NATv6?
Do you remember exact question?
HI all…. Passed just now with 956 score.
53 questions. Definitely some new questions.
No sim evaluations for me
2 new DnDs: LMI extensions and DMVPN
Labs: Redistribution, PBR, EIGRP stub
Dexter Dumps still very valid. Please don’t take it for granted but don’t just cram the answers, understand the answers and reasons behind them. Will help u to answer Any new ones u haven’t seen before.
All the new questions posted by EO are valid they came out. And like 1 new one that is not among what he posted. Enroute my house from the testing center. When I arrive I will clarify on some of the questions posted.
Thanks @EO @Weirdo @Maja @Rick you guys rock!!
forgot about that! the answer is DHCPv6 :) there is no NATv6
hahahahah I just got message that I’m posting too fast and I should slow down :)
@Kevin_Geek
how many DnD did you get in the exam ? and which ones apart from the LMI extensions and DMVPN
and what I forgot to say, in some questions it is very easy to recognize the wrong answer so just read carefully
@Maja
what is the question about ip sla deployment cycle? is this enumeration or just pick one answer?
Hello Guys, So i have Edited the new questions i saw the way i remembered them. There is like one or two more i cant recall at this time.
1) Choose 2 methods for migrating routing protocols

3) One new question with choose correct statement about nat. You will see configuration of nat with nat pool (Dynamic Nat)
Answers: There were list config for private add. 2 similar options for this list. Correct answer 1) has to be with a word “inside local”. Second correct option you will something “this list will be translated to this subnet
(which is pool)”. DO not choose it translates one-to-one
4) What Snmp v2c use for authentication
Answer: com string
5) One long question something like, how do routers distribute prefixes obtained from ISPs using DHCPv6.
Answer: i didnt see any option like “Stateful Natv6” i chose “Stateful DHCPv6”
6) New DND about DMVPN features. You will be required to match Hub, Spoke, mGRE and NHRP
to their meanings.
7) New DnD about LMI extensions. the left part we have: address registration, global addressing, multicast addressing, simple flow and something like virtual circuit status message. On the right side, meanings of those terms, u will be required to match the term, to its meaning.
8) one question about ipv6 eigrp features supported (choose 2)
Answer: Scaling and Partial Updates (sure 100%)
9) which authentication is present in all versions of SNMP
Answer: NoAuthNoPriv
10) features of Netflow version 9 (Choose 2):
answer: IETF standard and one option with “Ingress and Egress”
11) Question about PPPOE features (Choose two).
Options are PADO, PADI, PADR etc
Answers: (PPPoE Active Discovery Request), PADI (PPPoE Active Discovery Initiation)
12) What does SNMP v2c use for authentication
Answer: community string
13) A question with illustration, having one hub two spokes, running EIGRP and loopbacks on all routers. Hub is able to see loopbacks of all the two spokes. Question asked why the spokes are not seeing each other’s loopbacks.
Answer: I chose answer that had something to do with, one of the spokes is configured with “eigrp stub receive only”
was the only answer that made sense
GOODLUCK guys. This platform rocks!
@Kevin_Geek, you rock! Can all Test takers edit the questions please?
@Kevin_Geek
how many DnD did you get in the exam ? apart from the LMI extensions and DMVPN
@maja , how many DnD did you get in the exam ? apart from the LMI extensions and DMVPN
@Kevin_Geek
Congrats ;) thank’s a lot for the help!!

ABOUT THE PPPoE:
Expanding off potential new question where people are talking about [PADO/PADI] — this refers to PPPoE:
PPPoE requires certain signals and information to establish, accept, control and terminate the session. The basic signalling is shown below.
A PADI (PPPoE Active Discovery Initiation) broadcast signal is sent by the host to the remote devices.
A PADO (PPPoE Active Discovery Offer) signal is sent by the remote device back to the host.
A PADR (PPPoE Active Discovery Request) unicast signal is sent by the host to the remote device.
A PADS (PPPoE Active Discovery Session-Confirmation) is sent by the remote device back to the host.
A PADT (PPPoE Active Discovery Terminate) signal is sent to terminate a PPPoE session. It is the proper way to terminate a session but is not the actual cause for the
termination. The cause may be a simple timeout, a manual request by either end, or an out of spec line condition.
And take careful with the question about the OSPF, the exam asks only two answers:
Question:
Using new backup router in spite of faulty one in OSPF domain but relationship with neighbor in one interface only not working, what is the reason of this problem? (Choose two)
A. area ID mismatch
B. authentication mismatch
C. process id of OSPF not match
D. OSPF timers not match
E. MTU mismatch
Answer: Check the answer.
Regards,
@Ronald
about 3 more. making 5….the remaining 3 were in dexters questions
@FifaPlayer,
Thanks,
You helped me a lot too.
@Reveillon
Congrats ;) u are welcome!!
Hey Hammy – You posted you passed the Switch exam today too. Nobody is falling for our scam to get money for dumps they can get for free!
@Kevin_Geek
13) A question with illustration, having one hub two spokes, running EIGRP and loopbacks on all routers. Hub is able to see loopbacks of all the two spokes. Question asked why the spokes are not seeing each other’s loopbacks
I think there was the answer about split horizon not being disabled and I chose that one
@Reveillon
Question:
Using new backup router in spite of faulty one in OSPF domain but relationship with neighbor in one interface only not working, what is the reason of this problem? (Choose two)
I am so glad I got this one because it was annoying me!
the real Q goes something like this “router that was installed was already used somewhere else ” so I guess that configuration wasn’t fully deleted so I think we have to pick 2 out of first 3 answers
