When scheduling my exam it says 140 minutes. That seems longer then I remember seeing. Recent exam takers, what was your average time to completion?

@Neman Why do you think the new revamp is coming in end of january? It’s to update the qualifications and materials.
@Neman Meant end of february. The new qualification will be called Enterprise.
Ok so did my route this morning and passed with a 888. Definitely all that you need is on this site with a premium account.
I had taken the test last december and failed but I didn’t go in depth on the material here. This time around it was much much easier.
Labs were EIGRP Eval, IPv6 OSPF and OSPF Sim. Eval and IPv6 were the same as in here and the Sim had networks, names and location of routers different but the same exact concept. As long as you understand the explanation you should ace it
EIGRP eval use the show ip eigrp 1 topology (use show run to make sure eigrp is 1) and on IPV6 OSPF you need to remove the virtual link between R4 and R3 for maximum points, don’t worry about pinging, if you see the R4 loopback in R1s routing table you’re done. show run will tell you if the loopbacks are already advertised (they were on mine).
Lots of questions from the MPQs, NUQ5 and NUQ6; definitely do all the composites and understand the explanations when they show.
I had about 5 or 8 new questions but I really can’t remember much of them. Lots of the questions were completely different in wording but the concept and answers correspond. For example the question 17 in MPQ had the same diagram but completely different questions and answers, that stood out to me.
Instead of the question they gave you the show ipv6 route of HQR1 and asked what command you needed to use to get the Loopback of BR1 on that routing table
All options had something to do with either no stub or no stub receive-only options in BR1, HQR1 routers; very hard for me tbh and I have no idea what the answer is
Drag and Drops I had Q5, Q8, Q4 in D&D1, and I can’t remember the other one but I know it was here somewhere.
I don’t know if the Oct dumps are valid, I honestly think the premium account here is more than enough and cheap. Get that and pass the exam. Honestly Cisco exams are bullshit and they’re not real world examples.
On to TSHOOT for me, hopefully I can do it in less than a month
passed today 814, thought I failed though it was the last one for my CCNP. Tons of questions from composite.
What is or where is composite????? please help!!
@madestro @red2play
Thank u.
Are U referring to the 10 MPQ composites or the 15 Composite Quizzes
@Rena Composite are in this site premium member * Composite Quizzes
Thank you Madestro for the feedback!
what is the MPQs, NUQ5 and NUQ6 ? please help
Passed today with 820. The d&d were all from this site, I had a few questions from the composites and majority from MPQ,NUQ5 and NUQ6. There was a lot of DHCP questions and some NTP questions. The labs were from this site and the OSPF lab had different ip’s and process ID(in my case it was ospf 25 on all routers), do make sure that the interfaces are linked with the areas and that you can ping the loopback on the other side of the network. This site is still valid, you just have to study hard.
@Kazy Congrats on passing. I’m testing out tomorrow. I’ve gone through all of the MPQ and I have them down solid now. Plan is to go through all of the NUQ5 and NUQ6 questions today and try to squeeze in the composite quizzes later this evening. Did you see many from the composite quizzes? My worry is that there are 15 quizzes with 50 questions each. Feeling nervous about rushing through all of those. I can get through the NUQ5 and NUQ6 questions as they’re only 50 questions each, however, worried about what I’ll see when I try to do the composite quiz questions. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
Hi all.
Passed today with 8XX.
Labs were: EIGRP Evaluation (exactly the same as at this site), OSPFv6 (also exactly the same) and OSPF (with different area ID and network addressing, so pay your attention on these details during your exam). OSPFv6 didn’t support neither “copy run startup” nor “write memory” commands, pay no attention to it. OSPF lab SUPPORTS copy run startup. Also in OSPFv6 you don’t need to ping FEC:4::4 from R1, if the loopback address is present in the R1’s routing table, it’s enough.
Quite a lot D&Ds – don’t remember exactly, about 6 or 7, but all of them from here: e.g. Frame Relay LMI, Types of ACLs, IPv6 security features.
There were 3 new questions. I don’t exactly remember the wording, so something like this:
1. A DHCP Relay behavior if there are secondary interfaces. Options were:
a) broadcast DHCPDISCOVER only from primary address
b) broadcast DHCPDISCOVER from primary and one of the secondary addresses
c) broadcast DHCPDISCOVER from primary and all secondary addresses
d) if DHCP server is not reachable via primary address, broadcast DHCPOFFER from secondary addresses
2. What options should be configured when implementing GRE over IPSec?
a) Tunnel key
b) ip tcp adjust-mss
c) ip redirects
d) smth else
3. An engineer decided to secure IPv6 environment with traffic filters and blocks all link-local addresses. What will happen to OSPFv3?
a) OSPF neighborship still in use, but no updates are exchanged
b) OSPF neighborship fails in the area where the traffic filters are implemented
c) and d) – can’t remember.
To sum up, I’d like to say great THANKS to the digitaltut team. The Oct dump is 99% valid and it’s enough to pass if you study it carefully and understand at least the basic concepts of ROUTE. Note: I don’t have a premium account, so everything I’m writing about is accessible at FAQ & Tips page.
Good luck to all of us, see you on TSHOOT!
Hi Guys,
Is it possible to pass, only by learning MPQ and New Updated Questions – Part 5 and New Updated Questions – Part 6 ?
Who’ve passed this exam recently?
can you share your feedback please ?
@TheKot
Congrats on passing. It sounds like you just used the Oct dump and non-premium features to pass. If so that makes me feel good having premium plus using Pearson and Boson study mode exams. Thanks for the info.
Note: These Composite MPQs do not cover the questions in the Composite Quizzes (they are “old” questions but the exam is using them again as the new questions). We highly recommend you to practice the specific-topic questions carefully first before learning these 10 Composite MPQs as some questions may not be included in the Composite MPQs.
@Switch
Yep, I just used Oct dump and read this forum looking for the most recent information about the exam.
So you surely have no reason to feel nervous =)
Hello Guys,
I passed exam today, 910 in score,
Drag and drop :
Answer:
Authentication:
+ supports a local database for device access
+ supports encryption
Authorization:
+ specifies a user’s specific access privileges
+ enforces time periods during which a user can access the device
Accounting:
+ not supported with local AAA
+ verifies network usage
and :
Answer:
+ if authenticated – It allows the user to perform the requested function once authenticated
+ none – It instructs the network access server to proceed without requesting authorization information
+ local – It provides authorization for a limited set of functions only
+ krb5-instance – It uses a defined instance for authorization
+ group radius – It uses authorization information from a standards based server
+ group tacas+ – It uses authorization information stored as attribute value pair in a Cisco proprietary server
Quizz question : 95% from digitaltut.
Test LAB :
IPV6 SIM
eigrp evaluation simulator
Ospf simulator but different from the one on digitaltut I could find the trick to pinning the loopback behind the seattle router
there is the solution :
in seattle :
ipv6 router ospf 17
network 192.168.3.4 0.0.0.3 area 44
area 44 stub
in R2 :
ipv6 router ospf 17
network 192.168.3.4 0.0.0.3 area 44
area 44 stub
– stub answers the question of stopping traffic from inter area and external routes and the ping is 100% success
review the quizzes and the updated question 5 and 6 section separately and most popular question
many thanks to the digitaltut team and good luck to all
Hi Everyone,
I passed the CCNP ROUTE 300-101 Exam Today with a Score of 8XX.
I had 55 Questions in the Exam with 150 Minutes Time given. I had the EIGRP Evaluation Sim,
IPv6 OSPF Virtual Link Sim with the Seattle, Chicago and New York Routers in an OSPF Network Topology.
I prepared for the Exam using digitaltut premium subscription. I particularly like the way they categorize and group the Questions by CCNP ROUTE Exam Blueprint Subtopics which most dumps merchants failed to do. I was also helped by their giving specific Questions that are very popular in the Exam. This helped me to escape going through almost 900 Questions & Answers sold by some sites. Digitaltut’s giving Explanations to most of their CCNP ROUTE Questions also helped me to make sense of some Questions that sound somehow.
ALthough I also prepare with some Cisco Press Official Certification Books, eBooks and Videos, Digitaltut helped
me in the final preparations or my CCNP ROUTE Exam. I Thank God. I hope to prepare and also passed the CCNP TSHOOT 300-135 on or before February 22nd, 2020 with the help of God, help of People and Personal Preparation.
I will be taking the test in in one hour. Doing some last prep. Super stressed.. hope I have studied enough. I will update with the results.
Hi Anyek,
Congratulations on your success. I am preparing for the route exam, I need to get in touch with you for some clarification and help. Would you please send me an email to bluemooncanada2019 at gmail.
Thanks in advance
BlueMoon.
one question, RipNg uses which port, udp 521 or tcp 521? I have seen both, so I’m a little confused, please advise?
Urf modes
Which one is correct?
a.loose, strict and broadcast mode
a.loose, strict and vrf mode
Guys I did not pass 67X There was a lot of new questions not from the site. Also there was a new OSPF Sim. It looks like just getting up the OSPF. Which I thought I did.
There was a few questions on BGP
Sims New OSPF
IPV6
EIgrp Redis
OspF sim
Eigrp Eval
and about 10 -12 new questions not seen here. Back to studying and donating more money to Cisco.
MOMO could you describe more deeply topics and new lab ?
Taking the exam next week. I will update questions after the exam. I think MOMO didn’t study ALL the topics on this site.
I failed today.
55question with 2 Sim, 1 simlet and 11 drag&drop.
A lot of question with DHCP, frame relay, IPv6.
Some questions is not in the premium exam.
The OSPF sim have change but structure is Similare
New router name: Los Angeles, Chicago, NY
new area: area 1 become area 14
new ID: should use: ospf router 55.
I dont think that @MOMO was studu from the right source.
Also he said that is very nervous before the exam, so might not read something proper on the exam or forgot most of the answers.
And if there was new LAB, he should remember what exactly is, but due to the fackt that he was under perssure, he mistaken everything…
So not proper feedback, but just to confuse the other learners which expecting their exam in the near …
@clement: 11 d&d? is this a new record??
@ses: fully agree with you.
Hi Guys!
Passed with 8XX! Got a few questions not listed here, but strongly recommend using premium for training to get success! Thanks digitaltut!
