    hello

anybody has idea about the answer of bellow question

What would you configure on SNMPv3 to allow authentication and encryption?
    A. authpriv
    B. authnopriv
    C. noauthnopriv
    D. authmember
    Correct Answer: B

I searched a lot and all dumps say that the correct answer is B but according to the bellow explanation in the cisco website, in my opinion, the correct answer should be A

    any Idea ????????

    https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/ios-xml/ios/snmp/configuration/xe-3se/3850/snmp-xe-3se-3850-book/nm-snmp-snmpv3.html#GUID-55D2B06F-840B-4F6B-840E-89A27E6DC269

From the Oct dump. Not seeing that version of the question.
    Question 50
In SNMPv3, which security level provides encryption of the data?
    A. authMember B. noAuthNoPriv C. authNoPriv D. authPriv
    Answer: D
    Explanation
+ noAuthNoPriv – Security level that does not provide authentication or encryption. + authNoPriv – Security level that provides authentication but does not provide encryption. + authPriv – Security level that provides both authentication and encryption.

    https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc6996

  22. Burns

@ Burns I would go with what Cisco prints 65112-65535.

    https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/ios-xml/ios/iproute_bgp/configuration/15-mt/irg-15-mt-book/irg-remove-as.html

    @ Anonymous . Answer is A
    B. does authentication but not encryption
    C. does not do neither authentication nor encryption
    D. Is just wrong LOL

  27. Burns
    January 4th, 2020

@CableGuy both cbt nuggets and pluralsight train to say its 64512 – 65534

    65535 is a reserved address

  28. BGP Private AS Range
    January 5th, 2020

It seems 65,534 is not an answer option on the ROUTE exam. Would Cisco really include both 65,535 and 65,534 as possible answers?

I passed yesterday , all dumps available here are valid … go through dumps carefully .. few new questions .. harldy 3 -4 .. not more .. @testinJan
was ospf sim same as here pn the middle router do you add the network 192.168.4.72.4 0.0.0.3 area 0 within process id 1?

  37. Switch
    January 5th, 2020

    @Burns
No the Area 2 network should not be included. Use the appropriate mask to only include the serial ports for Area 1. Below this will include .5 and .6 as usables with .4 the network and .7 the broadcast
    network 192.168.4.4 0.0.0.3 area 1

    A. allow default route
    B. allow based on ACL math
    C. allow self ping to router
    D. source reachable via both
    Correct Answer: C

i think answer C is correct because when you configure the uRPF the router should be able to reach the source through the interface it came in via default route or a static route..

    @anonymous @Cody

Which configuration parameter is invalid when configuring Unicast Reverse Path Forwarding?
    A. allow default route
    B. allow based on ACL math
    C. allow self ping to router
    D. source reachable via both
    Correct Answer: D

the question mean what cannot be enter during Unicast Reverse Path Forwarding configuration on a router. there is not an option for source reachable via both.

so the correct answer is D: source reachable via both

just get into a router and type:

    R1(config-if)#ip verify unicast source reachable-via any ?
A standard IP access list number
A standard IP expanded access list number
allow-default Allow default route to match when checking source address
allow-self-ping Allow router to ping itself (opens vulnerability in
    verification)

    or

    R1(config-if)#ip verify unicast source reachable-via rx ?
A standard IP access list number
A standard IP expanded access list number
allow-default Allow default route to match when checking source address
allow-self-ping Allow router to ping itself (opens vulnerability in
    verification)

as you can see the Options A. allow default route B. allow based on ACL math C. allow self ping to router — Are Valid Options.

    hope this help

@Anon –> Mate it’d would be better if you through all the MPQs,NUQ5,NUQ6 and sims. There are different questions covered in all the topics and it only prepares you better for the exam because you never know.
