    @exec
    regards to setting AD the question asks for a route you can check this by opening a router and try enabling eigrp with (router eigrp 1)

    R1(config-router)#distance eigrp ?
    Distance for internal routes

    R1(config-router)#distance ?
    Administrative distance
    eigrp IP-EIGRP distance

    so the answe is D. distance eigrp 89 both are incomplete if hitting enter though.

    E. SATX(config-router)#distance 89 51.51.51.1 0.0.0.0 is the only correct answer for the next question and its a complete comand

    ABD is the corect answer for the last question you ask
    A. Hello or ACK received
    B. AS number match
    D. Identical metric (k values)

    @anonymous

    Yes distance eigrp 89 is part of a comand that changes the eigrp routes globally you have to finish the comand with an external route priority also so by default an eigrp priority is 90 and external 170 but eigrp sumary routes are 5

    passed the exam with a great score ,

    my tip is to know all topics because i met something like 10 new questions ,
    for dumping i think digitaltut do a great job most of the questions from here ,
    labs was : eigrp evaluation , ipv6 virtual link , eigrp stub ( make sure you save the config).
    thats what i remember from the new questions :

    – a question about ospf : if area-range or summary-address are assinged in the ABR or ASBR to summary between ospf areas.

    -a question about redistribute only IBGP to ospf somthing like redisribute bgp internal-___

    -protocols affected by MPP (the answers from this site were not presented in my tests), I chose the Telnet and HTTPS.

    a few more questions that i dont remember :( sorry and luck.

    – a question about ospf : if area-range or summary-address are assinged in the ABR or ASBR to summary between ospf areas.

    Please try to remind yourself more questions

    @netbrain
    was it:
    you want the device on your network to summarize routes between ospf and different autonomous systems. which action must you take:

    Configure the summary-address command on the ASBR
    Configure the summary-address command on the ABR
    config the area range command on the ABR
    config the area range command on the ABBR

    think the answer is
    Configure the summary-address command on the ASBR

    For the labs in the exam are these shorthand commands allowed instead of using just show running-config and searching. Also, need to ask again if anyone has a vce file for the Oct pdf?

    switch010101 at gmail com

    show running-config | in bandwidth
    show running-config interface fastEthernet 0/0
    show running-config | sec router eigrp
    show key chain

    A packet capture indicates that the router is not forwarding the DHCP packets that it receives on interface FastEthernet0/0. Which command needs to be entered in global configuration mode to resolve this issue?
    A. ip helper-address B. ip DHCP relay C. service DHCP D. ip forward-protocol

    Answer: B

    what is the right answer to this?

  27. Anonymous

    Passed with 8XX. A lot of DHCP questions, A LOT. It’s absurd. No BGP questions. This exam should focus more on routing than DHCP

    January 2nd, 2020

    Yes I was thinking show run works per norm but am hoping it is like a real router where those shorthand commands can be used to speed things up when searching. Cisco likes to disable things that would be used in your job (grrr) so wanted to make sure from those who have taken the exam and maybe tried to use some of those or any variation of those like using the | , checking the show run on an interface directly, interface summary and key chain.

    D. The redistributed EIGRP routes appear as OSPF external type 1
    E. The redistributed EIGRP routes as placed into an OSPF area whose area ID matches the EIGRP autonomous system number
    F. The redistributed EIGRP routes appear as OSPF external type 2 routes in the routing table

    EIGRP external routes have a AD of 90 internal 170 external but when it hits ospf it goes to an E2 which is 110 with a metric cost of 20.
