@??? 1500 bytes is the max default size for packets, so if you have a 1500 byte packet it will not be fragmented, so you need to select the next smallest size

Answer B. is the right one.
Default Switch configuration is mtu size 1500 – from this point of view – all the packets with mtu size 1500 are valid. But if you’d send packets with a mtu size of 1501 or higher, they would be fragmented. So the next ( highest ) packet would be 1800 which will be fragmented.

Yes, i did noticed the difference but i will still answer B also for the 2nd question since link-local addresses are used for adjacency and also for local flooding of Type 8 LSA

I just failed yesterday. I don’t know what happened!
I did all labs correctly but there was many new questions.
I’ve got 667 and I’m really upset because this is my first time I’m failed on certification exam.
I think this is will be a good start point for me studying and dig deeper on subjects.
3 Labs: OSPFV3, IPV6 virtual-links, PBR, and EIGRP EVALUATION.
3 DNDs: TACACS+, DLCI, and new one that never seen before.

Failed today, 749/790. Lots of new questions to me but perhaps they are in the old specific questions here. I didn’t have time to go in deep through them all.
A lot of SMPT and EVN questions that were very very specific

D&Ds I believe were AAA, Frame Relay and 2 more I can’t remember

Labs were OSPF Sim with diff IPs and subnets
EIGRP Eval which was pretty much the same
OSPFv3 which I believe was the same, in this one it stated that to get all the points one must remove useless config so that’s why we have to remove the virtual link between R4 and R3, it’s not needed. Copy run or wr mem didnt work on that sim but copy run start works on the OSPF config one

Overall very sad and frustrated but I must say the premium here is certainly worth it for the D&Ds and the SIMs alone

Not sure if I should retake it as I can only do it in January (mid, maybe on the 17th) and that would leave me less than a month for TSHOOT

@madestro did you work on october dump ? all questions ?

@erman I don’t usually go through dumps because I can see the answer right away which defeats the purpose. Which is why I recommend the premium membership here and just do all of the topic quizzes and then the composite

I mostly focused on the NUQs 5 and 6, which I saw little off in the exam. D&Ds and labs which are all in here

I will probably go through the topic quizzes in deep now and then composite and them MPQs and NUQs

Although I’m still thinking if I should just let this go. Not sure I will have enough time for tshoot if I do this one in January

Just practice answering them and you’ll formulate concepts along the way. Just go to Google if some concepts are really hard to grasp. I had a total of 2 weeks studying (started zero knowledge with Route).

Got the simlet but messed up all my labs. So the multiple choice questions helped me (i think). But having 8xx score only means points on labs are huge.

Exam is doable guys, just grind it!

I missed the exam by 31 points. There were about 10-15 questions new which I never saw on this site.
However I found most of them in most popular questions which I did’nt go thru.

1 of the question was 2 DHCP was configured and what happens when host brodcast for IP vi IP helper.

Dude that exam was brutal. Failed it by a bit. I honestly think they gave me a bad version of the test. I used the CCNA site for two weeks and got CCNA. Tried the same thing here by just memorizing the concepts (not just answers), but it wasn’t enough. I memorized 98% of the sites questions and answers but still failed lol. It’s not that the site wasn’t helpful, it’s just there were so many questions I’d never seen before, and I only skipped the miscellaneous section.

I’m gonna try again next week but just wanted to share my experience. At least half my test had new questions, and I don’t mean it in the sense of rephrased. I mean absolutely new. Guess I’ll search for more dumps and try to see if the exam questions are what I got today.

@Mr iBraindump , when you fail I think cisco not let you take this exam in 21 days . please tell us about new questions , how many new questions ? did you remember any one of them ?

There was about 5 new questions i didn’t see here, the rest are from the July/Oct dumps and premium

I recommend Premium from this site. Very helpful flash card based quizzes and saw most of the questions on there.

Also had EIGRP evaluation, OSPFv6 Virtual link, EIGRP Stub, OPSF Sim

Study for more than 2 weeks. Actually spend time on studying and learning. I prepared for 2 months even though i was already a CCNP and am in the industry. Good luck ALL!

@OterGuy Thanks and no need to be nervous. What I’ve learned is sometimes people get a version of the test that has most questions from this site and some people don’t. I think I got unlucky this time around. It also comes down to how you study too.

I did the exam and I failed . alot of new questions I didn’t seen before almost half of the questions new . I had 6 different D&D
