    The following configuration is applied to a router at a branch site:
    ipv6 dhcp pool dhcp-pool
    dns-server 2001:DB8:1:B::1
    dns-server 2001:DB8:3:307C::42
    domain-name example.com
    !
    If IPv6 is configured with default settings on all interfaces on the router, which two dynamic IPv6 addressing
    mechanisms could you use on end hosts to provide end-to-end connectivity? (Choose two.)
    A. EUI-64
    B. SLAAC
    C. DHCPv6
    D. BOOTP
    Correct Answer: AB

    May anyone explain why?!

    for the OSPF evaluatin sim:
    What answer did you choose for Question 2 ? Was it the timers 30-120-120 or was it the neighbour command that needed to be used ?
    Thank you in advance for your asnwer.

    @EO

    EUI-64 and SLAAC act in conjunction to provide IPv6 addresses using host’s mac addresses and IP address advertised by the router. You can find detailed information here:

    Two aspects of an IP SLA operation can be tracked: state and reachability. Which statement about state
    tracking is true?
    A. When tracking state, an OK return code means that the track’s state is up; any other return code means
    that the track’s state is down.
    B. When tracking state, an OK or over threshold return code means that the track’s state is up; any other
    return code means that the track’s state is down.
    C. When tracking state, an OK return code means that the track’s state is down; any other return code means
    that the track’s state is up.
    D. When tracking state, an OK or over threshold return code means that the track’s state is down; any other return code means that the track’s state is up.

    Dumps says correct answer is A

    However http: // http://www.firewall . cx/cisco-technical-knowledgebase/cisco-routers/813-cisco-router-ipsla-basic . html in this link we can see that actually the correct answer is B

    Hi guys,

    I’m looking for theese notes:
    * Lunchi – Page 216,217.
    * Rob121 – Page 219.
    * Dexter – Page 219.

    However I can see only 80 comment pages. Where can I find these said to be useful notes?

    The lab sims find here are still valid?

    Thanks

    @Cryptoman

    I think that old comments were removed by the administrator.
    Thus now the pages are only 80.
    You can find the comments of Lunchi that were at page 216-217 now at page 77.
    The comments of Dexter and Rob121 are at pages 77-78-79.
    They are really usefull !!
    Anyway , read at least the previous 3 pages.
    Regards

    Hi!

    from dexter dump

    Engineer has to enable RIP on a link. Where he will issue the command?

    A. Ipv6

    B. Global

    C. Router sub command

    D. Interface subcommand

    dump says correct is C. I think id D. from the official 300-101 book:

    Enable IPv6 on the interface, typically with one of these two methods: ■ Configure an IPv6 unicast address on each interface using the ipv6 address address/prefix-length [ eui-64 ] interface command. ■ Configure the ipv6 enable command, which enables IPv6 and causes the router to derive its link-local address. Enable RIP on the interface with the ipv6 rip name enable interface subcommand (where the name matches the ipv6 router rip name global configuration command).

    EIGRP Eval sim Q3

    “To successfully authenticate between two EIGRP neighbors, the key number and key-string must match. The key chain name is only for local use. In this case we have key number “1” and key-string “CISCO” and they match so EIGRP neighbor relationship is formed.”

    But I think key-string is actually “firstkey” defined in key named CISCO on both R2 and R4. Am I right?

    Table 1 Comparison of State and Reachability Operations
    Tracking Return Code Track State
    State OK UP
    (all other return codes) DOWN

    Reachability OK or over threshold UP
    (all other return codes) DOWN

    This is directly from cisco https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/ios-xml/ios/ipapp/command/iap-cr-book/iap-t1.html

    @Jasaz and @wellwisher
    I’m confused in this question also, so as I remember from Switch course, In VRRP topology assymetric routing can occur also… refer also to: https://supportforums.cisco.com/t5/lan-switching-and-routing/trouble-with-routing-between-vlan-subnets-with-vrrp-topology/td-p/1558749

    Someone have a good/best answer for this question?

    A. apply the ipv6 acl under a vty

    @Leo and @wellwisher The only other reference that I found was this, https://supportforums.cisco.com/t5/lan-switching-and-routing/trouble-with-routing-between-vlan-subnets-with-vrrp-topology/td-p/1558749 and it too results in the Samsung device having Firewall rules on by default. When Cisco only documents the Firewalls with Assymetrical Routing issue, and no other results on their site…….. I tend to defer to that huge Wilber moment. lol! Anyone else have any input on this?????

  46. Cryptoman
    January 12th, 2018

    Passed today with 900+ scores. Thank you guys for your help, this page is awesome!

    Sims and dumps provided by procyber and Dexter are both still valid with the additional comments wrote by Lunchi and Dexter. Do NOT pay for anyone who offer you dumps for money! All the required material are provided here which is necessary to take your exam. BUT! If I can give an advice, do NOT learn just the questions and the answers without understand the material. If you do this anyway you probably will fail or even if you pass, you won’t have any usable knowledge about networks. Instead use the learning materials and clear explanations can be found here to understand the questions and how networks work.

    Good luck for your exam!

    I found this conflicting answer in Dexter dump.

    If routers in a single area are configured with the same priority value, what value does a router use for the
    OSPF Router ID in the absence of a loopback interface?

    A. The lowest IP address of any physical interface
    B. The highest IP address of any physical interface
    C. The lowest IP address of any logical interface
    D. The highest IP address of any logical interface

    Correct Answer: B
    but I can choose D

    January 12th, 2018

    @Yamichan, where can we get comment from LUNCHI and DEXTER?

  50. LR
    January 12th, 2018

    As per Lunchi’s comments,

    Q2: Which of the following statements is true about the serial links that terminate in R3?

    Answer is: A. The R1-R3 link needs the neighbor command for the adjacency to stay up

    While Digital Tut Answer is: B. The R2-R3 link OSPF timer values are 30, 120, 120

    Anyone, please re-confirm.

    I think it depends on the lab scenario, you might expect different results. Good point for the test takes. My test is on Sunday.
