I will book for this Saturday. yes I have gone through ALL 10 MPQ and new updates.

Digital tut version the answer is B.
Rare version correct would be C.

I have just completed my 300-101 with 9xx.
Mostly all of the questions were from here.
Labs – EIGRP OSPF Redistribute Simulator – Case 2 and Policy Based Routing Simulator (exactly like here, but IP address are different)
Also OSPF Evaluation Simulator – All the answers are same, but R3 question was different

Check the serial links connected to R3. Which statements are correct?
A. The neighbor command must be used on R1-R3 link to keep the adjacency up
B. The OSPF timer values of R2-R3 link are 30, 120, 120
C. The OSPF timer values of R1-R3 link should be 10,40,40
D. R3 must flood LSUs to all the routers on the network.
So both B and C were not correct, and for both R2-R3 and R1-R3 links have adjacency up; therefore I had only answer D to select; so I selected answer D (not sure this is correct or not)

Hello everyone. Passed my exams today. got redist and pbr for labs and OSPF sim. i got the same version as @Helaya but i did answer A – use neighbor command. reason: R3 is not the DR for both R1 and R2. though not sure if its also correct. July dump and chinese dumps are still valid.

Just passed today, some of the questions were new to me. Read IPV6 Unicast, Link Local etc.. IPV6 DHCP, lots of questions from these … also had 1 question from prefix list.
Also had question 18 of the July dump, the one with the picture of Frame Relay network :
Question: A network engineer is working on the network topology and executes the command no ip split-horizon on interface S0/0 of the Hub router. What is the result of this command?

Also had Question 207 of the July dump with different cost numbers:
R1_R3 cost was 300
R_R2 cost 150
R3-R2 cost 150
Labs: PBR, OSPF Evaluation , and RIGRP_OSPF redistribute with Fast Ethernet link between R2_R3

For the OSPF Evaluation Lab, the one that is asking t o check R3-R2 and R3_R1 was a bit different, the show ip ospf interface serial 1/0 and 1/1 timer intervals were all different and the correct answer was A: manually using neighbor .. seems like digitut has removed this question for this lab.

what is the update in the PBR lab?? and what is case 2 for the eigrp ospf redistribution?

OSPF links that are ptp are still multicast there are only 2 routers on the link the ospf type is point to point. Point to point ospf links are not Non-Broadcast by definition unless you actually change the network type yourself. Given the ptp definition there is no election of a DR/BDR and the neighbor adjacency simply shows as full. If you get wireshark and look at a ptp link you will still see multicast hellos between the 2 routers on 224.0.0.5. ptp ospf links are not Non-broadcast unless you change the network type and then to get the adjacency you need the neighbor command. Its a quick GNS lab to test this. Best to lab the entire question and play with the NSSA area at the same time and resolve how the fact that the ABR becomes a pseudo ASBR in a NNA area resulting is the type 4 being generated from the next area ABR and also looking at the bit changes in the Type 1 LSA. I believe the question about the type 4 was originally in there for the other areas being a NSSA but the question never seems to have been updated.

In reference to the eigrp ospf redistrubition

The difference between two cases is the link between R2 and R3 is Serial link (case 1) / FastEthernet link (case 2) where you have to use additional command “distance eigrp …” so that the traffic destined for 172.16.100.1/24 goes via the optimal path. In particular, in case 2 we have to direct traffic to go through the greatest bandwidth path R1 -> R2 -> R3 -> R4 with the “distance eigrp” command.

when I check show int s1/0 and s1/1 i got the following:

The OSPF timer values of R1-R3 link were 30, 120, 120
The OSPF timer values of R2-R3 link were be 10,40,40

so None of the answer from A to D is correct.

I select A cause Groege from this forum told me A is the answer not sure its correct or not.
