@Kokane, what does it mean “new questions”, you have to say what your sources were? digitaltut, digitaltut with premium etc etc or something else? Its not enough just to come here and shout ..new questions bla bla bla ….?!?!

Lots aof D & D – CoPP vs MPP, IT opeartions,AAA, Frame relay , IPv6, . Other general questions on NTP, DMVPN, IPSLA, NAT etc. All what I saw are new questions in general

anybody who was for the exam recently and shares the same experience for “a lot of new question”?

on the exam there are around 45 MCQ and me personally I would use the phrase “a lot of new questions” if there will be more than 10-15 for example, questions that are not covered by digitaltut premium.

if you make the Labs and Sims which give you the majority of the points, even if you fail on those 10 new questions, you should still be able to pass!

and please everybody who shares his experience good or bad, please share how did you prepare, what dumps did you use etc etc.

@kopi is spot on. I passed and there were some new questions but not a lot. I would say 3-5 maybe and of those only a couple were out from left field, a couple were answerable (info covered in Digitaltut tutorials and explanations). There were a couple that were old questions too but they are here. All in all, as some have said, if you go through and know the MPQs, NUQs, know the SIM commands, and go through the composite quizzes once, you are in good shape. Note that I only went through about 33% of the composite questions but I would recommend going through them all at least once.

What you definitely need to pay attention to when taking the actual test is to ALWAYS double-check and verify that the SIM answers are valid. I suspect some folks are loosing points because they recognize an answer and just assume it is correct. DO NOT assume the answer in the same SIM here will be identical on the test. This happened to me where the answer options of a SIM here on Digitaltut were identical to the answers options on the test but the ACTUAL answer was NOT the same. However, this is not a big deal! You need only to read through and perform the commands and following the methodology as outlined in the SIM tutorials here to know what commands to enter and what to look for on the actual test. If you do that you will easily be able to verify or identify the correct answer.

There is no fragmentation in IPV6 because it uses Path MTU discovery to find the possible smallest packet size to the destination. without the answers we don’t know what are the possible choices. but I would recommend to compare the IPv4 & IPv6 headers this would give the better idea to tackle the exam question.

BGP does NOT do the load balancing by default. it always uses the best one path.

Just passed the exam today with score 820
Digitaltul, pass leader and chines dumps are not enough to get you pass the exam, not to make you panic but this the truth.

I had a lot of new questions regarding redistributing, BGP and NAT.

All laps are valid from this site just note the delay time in redistribution lap as its was different

But if your study well the basic principals you can handle the exam

Well – I was lucky to have access to the Digitaltut (premium) , Passleader and Chinese Dumbs. I can tell you that while the Digitaltut questions have not been updated , they are enough for passing. Remember that the labs form the majority of the points , so if you do the labs well , you will score points. Also remember you need to study the whole digitaltut dumb -not 10 % or 15 % – the whole dumb.This calls for you to have Time- if you don’t have time to study , I can tell you now -forget it -you won’t make it . You will be part of the group- The exam has changed …new questions. Yes there are new questions ,but they will not make you fail .

Let me address the Passleader/Chinese/Digitaltut issue- they have similar questions. But please do the research on Cisco website – I was answering some questions here on this forum -armed with what Cisco says ,not what the dumb says. So even digitaltut-maybe wrong ,but what helped was the Cisco documentation – I can’t say exactly which question.

Now when you do the labs-say PBR -you need to generate traffic, don’t just leave after config. Also you need to visit R1 and issue the required statement sh route-map XXX .You lose points when you don’t do that.
When you do the EIGRP-OSPF Red. you put the distance command in the correct Router-. Also you need to ping and trace the traffic , to see whether it comes to the correct destination ,using the SPF.You leave that one out , you lose points.
