Not sure what MPQ and NPQ meant. But what I studied was some dump from ETE file and premium sub from digitaltut. Keep in mind, some digitaltut answer were wrong. Don’t just memorize the question and answer. Try to understand the concept thoroughly which what I did during reviewing the dump. Cisco likes to play trick on the exam (which is their nature to encounter people from just memorizing the dump), like they change their question on same concept. If you just memorize the question, you will recognize the question on exam but will freakout because the answer was changed. If I didn’t master the concept, then I wouldn’t be able to answer it.

Just passed with low 8XX. I wish I could remember specific questions. There are new questions. I studied the networking 757q and the SIM from digitaltut. The sims practice saved me on the exam. There were about 12 questions I haven’t seen before (they could have been on another dump) and some that I forgot the answer. The was a new DnD. I only started studying about 8 days ago. I watched all of CBT and some ITProtv. ITProtv has 45 hours of videos on this exam and they actually answer a lot in just the first 5ish hours I watched. I will not rush myself for TShoot.

Eval was OSPF
SIMs: Policy Base routing and OSPF and EIRGP redistribution. The sims on this site.

@anonymous you can see from the configuration that the redistribution command is to match External routes

route-map ospf-to-eigrp is set to match an ACL. why? because when configuring the match ip command under a route map, to match a prefix list, the syntax is match ip address prefix-list prefixlist_name

to match ACL the command is match ip address ACL_Number/NAME

therefore you can ascertain that the correct answer to this question is A.

Route exam is the most difficult part of CCNP exam, I’ve learn it on a hard way.

Study all the theory and do some simulation even the premium is a great way to assist you also.

I agree with what you said, but Cisco has two official books: The Official Certification Guide (OCG) and the Foundation Learning Guide (FLG). Both should be required reads, but even they alone will not (in my experience) guarantee an exam pass. Experience is key, especially troubleshooting experience, help to figure out a lot of what the issues are and how to narrow down questions.

Yes you are right , you can study that one , also be a premium member – that will give you a good subset of latest questions, for example if you want to focus only on uRPF you can easily do that…..Also be aware that some questions are repeated in that document and in the website. However ,some answers are also not correct – be careful. Sometimes you will need to delve deeper into Cisco docs to get an answer. Good Luck

Also remember – there are some new questions in most of Cisco Exams – in my experience ,they are ref as Beta questions and I do not think they have bearing in your total mark – just like Microsoft . They can put you off ,but : 1) make sure you study your sims and know like the back of your hand. 2) Drag and Drop – practice them all 3) Simlets -Practice them all .

Labs: OSPF IPv6, EIGRP OSPF Redistribution and OSPF Sim
D&D: IPv6 Address Translation, Frame Relay LMI and TACACS/RADIUS.

The exam was quite good, most questions were listed here. As study materials I ended up using digitaltut for two weeks prior to the exam and focused on labs and How to Master CCNP Route, by Rene Molenaar. I really recommend you get your labs straight and as a lab resource I rented a virtual server to run multiple routers. Only the content here is not enough, keep that in mind.

For the Switch exam I pretend to make my labs based on the questions on TUT and I already bought the How To Master CCNP Switch. I recommend this book series, Rene explains the concepts in a concise and easy way to be understood, if you read the first time and did not get it, once you read for a second time or third time you will learn what you need.

I just passed my Route exam yesterday with a score of 9xx/1000. All what I used for the preparation is the official cert guide book from Cisco press and after studying the book, I joined the premium membership on that site. Honestly, the premium membership has all what you need to pass the exam! I have gone through all the questions in here especially in the composite quizzes part. Then, I went over the MPQ & NUQ, practiced all the lab sims and I was more than ready to pass the exam. I only had like 3 or 4 new questions in the exam that were not here and they were about basic BGP knowledge.
I had the following labs in the exam:
OSPF-Eigrp redistribution (case 2) lab.
PBR lab.
OSPF sim.

and for the D&D: NAT & Frame Relay.
