Which statement about spilt-horizon rule for distance vector routing protocols is true?
    A. A router advertises a route to an unreachable network with an infinite metric.
    B. A router does not advertise routes to any neighboring router.
    C. A router advertises routes back out the interface on which it learned them with an infinite metric.
    D. A router does not advertise routes back out the interface on which it learned them.

What is the correct answer A or D?

    I remember D is a split-horizon rule. Not sure about A.

Other than a working EIGRP configuration, which option must be the same on all routers for EIGRP authentication key rollover to work correctly?

    A. SMTP
    B. SNMP

    Good response is D
passwords have to match but you have to know that this part concerns the KEY-CHAIN part, and we call this part KEY-STRING.

But if timers are not OK, hellos messages can be a problem.

So the time is an issue for authentication fiel in EIGRP world

DHCPv6 prefix delegation operates as follows:

    1. A delegating router (Server) is provided with IPv6 prefixes to be delegated to requesting routers.
    2. A requesting router (Client) requests one or more prefixes from the delegating router.
    3. The delegating router (Server) chooses prefixes for delegation, and responds with prefixes to the requesting router (Client).
    4. The requesting router (Client) is then responsible for the delegated prefixes.
    5. The final address allocation mechanism in the local network can be performed with SLAAC or stateful/stateless DHCPv6, based on the customer preference. At this step the key thing is the IPv6 prefix and not how it is delivered to end systems.

    https://thenetworkway.wordpress.com/2015/06/23/ipv6-prefix-delegation-what-is-it-and-how-does-it-going-to-help-openstack/

The DHCPv6 use UDP protocol for distribution IPv6 addresses and prefixes. The routers dont need in the DHCPv6 prefixes from DHCPv6 server, its work for network administrator. DHCPv6 messages are exchanged over UDP port 546 and 547. Clients listen for DHCP messages on UDP port 546 while servers and relay agents listen for DHCP messages on UDP port 547.

  46. JJ
    December 12th, 2018

    @ Kani
I agree your mention but if dhcpv6 only use udp 547, the answer “A” is incorrect because the router can obtain DHCPv6 prefixes.

A network administrator is attempting to configure IP SLA to allow one time stamp to be logged when a packet arrives on the interface and one time stamp to be logged when a packet leaves the interface. Which IP SLA accuracy tool enables this functionality?

    A. Trap
    B. RTT
    C. Responder
    D. Trigger
    E. Logging

    Answer: B or C?

  50. Anonymous
    December 12th, 2018

@CCNP B. The accuracy of the RP-FP synchronization is poor. To address this issue, the enhanced UDP jitter probe in the QFP Time Stamping feature stores both the RP and CPP time stamps. RTT and jitter calculations utilize the CPP time stamps, and one-way calculations continue to be based on RP time stamping. Therefore, time synchronization, such as that provided by NTP, is required between the source and the target device in order to provide accurate one-way delay (latency) measurements. One-way latency values are computed using RP time stamps are corrected by applying estimated-correction algorithms based on CPP time stamps.
QFP time stamping includes an enhanced UDP probe and enhanced responder. The devices on which the UDP probe and IP SLAs responder are configured must both be running Cisco software images that support QFP time stamping and the optimized time stamp location (for more accurate RTT measurements). If the UDP jitter operation is targeted to an responder on a device that does not support the optimized time stamp location, the IP SLAs probe will fail.

    C. is just a responder same as a sender.
