    I agree with francuss. And A is definetely not correct because it says “Area ID match”…not “Area ID mismatch”.

    @francuss, have u had time to review my Q227 inputs? (261 page).

    ip-access-group 102 in

    Which is the correct answer? A or B (C and D is excluded)
    A direction is in, but the traffic is outbound, but may be we have to apply this configuration the closest to the users PC on the router.
    B has udl access-list, and it doesn’t filter HTTP traffic.

    @RouteRider
    Access group should be “in” and both TCP so only A fits to that.

    I have seen a lot of answers but it is “B”!
    There is a cisco link as reference.

    When a packet is received at the interface where Unicast RPF and ACLs have been configured, the following actions occur:
    Step 1: Input ACLs configured on the inbound interface are checked.
    Step 2: Unicast RPF checks to see if the packet has arrived on the best return path to the source, which it does by doing a reverse lookup in the FIB table.
    Step 3: CEF table (FIB) lookup is carried out for packet forwarding.
    Step 4: Output ACLs are checked on the outbound interface.
    Step 5: The packet is forwarded.

    The question says block web trafic so anyway :

    A : tcp trafic
    B : udp trafic

    so web trafic is a tcp protocol.

    A is correct answer

    The question does not states any configured ACL… so answer might be D. It verifies a reverse path via the FIB to the source… if there is an ACL configured then B is absolutely correct.

    I Believe Option B is correct because there is no Permit statement in the ACL and there is explicit Deny at the end will deny everything.

    anbyth13 @ gmail . com

  39. RouteRider
    December 3rd, 2018

    @Karma
    Other people say the A is correct because the right place is the closest to source for an extended ACL.
    So we have to place the ACL to the interface which points to the users.

  40. Yoshimitsu
    December 3rd, 2018

    the question no specified a streaming trafic but only tcp trafic , so A is correct

    here is the question:
    “Which configuration can you apply to a device so that it always blocks outbound web traffic on Saturdays and Sundays between the hours of 1:00 AM and 11:59 PM?”
    It’s web traffic!!! http and https, which are TCP 80 and TCP 443
