    @joey, there are 3 configuration labs and 2 analyzing labs! as total of 5!

    December 12th, 2017

    @Johnny,

    if i am not mistaken, you meant that the Lynaic router comes with the configuration applied.

    i can see the labs and the only router that need to be configured are (porland and amani).

    do you think it is better to check that out and make sure?

    They are just making the point that NTPv6 does not support any of these technoligies…
    Its not a trick but not well explained in Procyber, stick with DigTut.

    @Wailanpay

    The below config is correct just note 2 things:

    1) Portland will likely be a different name and
    2) The Process ID will likely be different

    Portland#configure terminal
    Portland(config)#router ospf 74
    Portland(config-router)#network 192.168.4.4 0.0.0.3 area 1
    Portland(config-router)#area 1 stub
    Portland(config-router)#end
    Portland#copy running-config startup-config

    The below config is correct just note 2 things:

    1) Amani will likely be a different name and
    2) The Process ID will likely be different

    Amani#configure terminal
    Amani(config)#router ospf 1
    Amani(config-router)#network 192.168.4.4 0.0.0.3 area 1
    Amani(config-router)#area 1 stub no-summary
    Amani(config-router)#end
    Amani#copy running-config startup-config

    You shouldn’t have to replace anything, just add in commands to those 2 routers. The loopback router (far right router) you don’t touch.

    @Wailanpay

    Oh, also IP’s will probably be different but you get the point etc

    @Johnny,

    does the OSPF ID must be the same in the 2 routers? or they can be different?

    @byakura They’ll be the same across both

  15. nour
    December 13th, 2017

    @Byakura the process ID is locally significant, so the answer is Yes they can be different.

    @everyone else PLEASE READ ROUTE FAQs & Tips AT THE RIGHT BOTTOM OF THE QUESTIONS, YOU CAN FIND THE PDF OF THE QUESTIONS.

  16. Johnny
    December 13th, 2017

    Yes technically they can be but for that lab they won’t…they’ll need to be the same based on whatever process ID the lab tells you it wants them to be. As far as the PDF goes, it’s useful, but not entirely accurate

    Can someone who use procyber v1.5 tell me what version of Visual CertExam they are using to open/view the dump. I have 3.4.2 and procyber v1.5 doesn’t work on it. So can someone tell me which is the correct version that I need to obtain in order to use it.

    Thank you in advance

    Guys, any ideas about

    Which two statements about Frame Relay Point-to-Point connections are true? (Choose Two)

    A. Changing a point-to-point sub interface to a different type requires the device to be reloaded.
    B. They use two DLCIs to communicate with multiple endpoints over the Frame Relay cloud.
    C. The device can establish a point-to-point connection to the cloud without a DLCI.
    D. They can operate normally without a DLCI map.
    E. Each physical interface that extends to the Frame Relay cloud can support a single SVC.

    Dups says A, D.

    Ok for D, but I’m totally not sure about the reload…

    I’d like to also mentioned the following question.
    /*
    Which of the following are characteristics of TACACS+?

    From my point of view the right answers would be
    Encrypt an entire packet
    Offers robust accounting
    */

    Tacacs+ is not a Cisco-proprietary protocol. It was developed by Cisco and released as an open standard.

    @nino
    Thanks for the reply.

    But I’m still not sure about “Changing a point-to-point sub interface to a different type requires the device to be reloaded”

    R12(config)#interface Serial0/0.12 point-to-point
    R12(config-subif)#frame-relay interface-dlci 113

    It’s just a subinterface… I can remove it and create the new one without any reload action.

  36. mhr
    December 13th, 2017

    Sorry, I was wrong.
    No, after a specific type of subinterface is created, it cannot be changed without a reload.
