Do we have to use distance 90 105 command if the link between R2 >R3 is serial link? My understanding is we don’t use this command unless we have Fast Ethernet link on R2 between R3. Your help we be appreciated greatly!

All the documentation I find says you can have up to 2 export destinations, all you have to do is identify a different UDP port. I can’t find ANY documentation that says it must be a VRF.

Do you have documentation for that?

Using new backup router in spite of faulty one in ospf domain but relationship with neighbor in one interface only not working, what is the reason
a. Area id mismatch
b. authentication mismatch
c. Process id issue
d. ospf timers not match

However if they only give you 2 options to choose, Here is what I took into consideration…..

Poorly worded question!

I am thinking the question is more along the lines of this;

You replaced a faulty router in an OSPF Area. New Router Established Neighbors with all OSPF Routers except for a Neighbor on one interface.

IF the question is something like that, then I like A and D as the answer!

Why?

Well because Authentication can be configured per AREA. If I am able to communicate with other OSPF routers in the Same are except for one, then Authentication is not my issue.

Area IDs and Hello Timers can be manipulated per interface. Yes, Authentication can be enabled per interface, but if All other Neighbors didn’t have a problem with it, then this neighbor shouldn’t either.

That is what I am going with. If I get to the test and see other wise, I will make a better well informed decision during the exam.

to make tunnels you only need mGRE for dynamic tunneling and NHRP to resolve address :D IPsec is only used to encrypt the packets with GRE headers. thus without ipsec you can have DMVPN but without security

In ospf sim if it is requested to use ospf process Id different than configured one on router lyniac and any if you try to change ospf process I’d on them by using gns3 then you will not be able to ping the loop back on lyniac router

It’s one of the poor questions in the dump… The answer depends on the actual config. If it has a default auto-cost reference bandwidth 100 nothing changes. Anyway, I would choose C, because there is no special conditions specified.

@jigre66 i clicked “next” bottom right corner thinking they changed the exam style which they did just not in the way I thought.

It was in reference to the OSPF Lab sim where you need to enter router configurations not the OSPF Evalutaion simulator where you enter router commands to obtain answers.
