@CCNP-Exam: EIGRP OSPF Redistribution Sim, IPv6 OSPF Virtual Link Sim, EIGRP Stub Sim
@Jimmy thanks for your reply and you configured them same commands shown here on this site ?
hello all,
what is the latest dump? short and clear answer please.
hello all,
what is the latest dump? short and clear answer please.
Hi All,
Any one here was able to run the simlets given by nneettwwoorrkkiinngg?. My GNS3 is working fine but when I run the simlets on my GNS3, it gives me a lot of error messages.
Hope someone could help me play the simlets.
Many thanks to you guys.
Got my exam tomorrow, have used the Premium version of this site exclusively to study. Let’s see how I go….
@net-working Use @nneettwwoorrkkiinngg dump
@JAJA, this site has the sims on zips and it shows which image do you need to run those sims. they have as well the config of all sims. look in youtube a tutorial of how to configure the GNS3 and remake or load those sims.
@nneettwwoorrkkiinngg I was using the PDF until now, I will start using de VCE file so there will be a lot of debugging from my side, sorry for the imminent spam ;-)
Q462 is wrong and the explanation doesn’t make any sense.
Q475 doesn’t have a correct answer. (It explains that the ANS A is the correct one but VCE mark it as incorrect)
Q483 please fill the “other options” with Broadcasting and KeepAlive (something to keep answer not be that obvious)
Q491 please fill the “other options” with “Transitions mechanisms” or “Route targets”
Q499 has three correct answers (contrast it with Q498)
Q500 and Q501 have the same options, but one has two ANS and the other only one ANS. Option B might be correct so I will erase Q500 and Explain in notes that if only one ANS is available, it should be D.
Q564 has two “interface” options, please delete one.
Q566 Please add “choose two” in the question statement.
Pass today with 9xx points
I got labs 1. ) Eigrp stub , Ospf Stub , Redistibute

QUESTION 563
In which state do DR and BDR establish adjacency with each OSPF router in the network?
A. Init State
B. Exstart State
C. Exchange State
Correct Answer: A
@Anonymous
thanks bro
Updated the files I will share today
When OSPF is forming an adjacency, in which state does the actual exchange of information in the link?
A. INIT
B. Loading
C. Exstart
D. Exchange
Answer: D
@JAJA
sim questions in vce file You can see
good luck bro
we want to create good vce and pdf file
if you see any wrong please let me
see you later
Passed today. Kikavich all in one is very valid. Would’ve got a higher score but I only reviewed the PDFs once the last 4 days plus I studied Frame relay and PPP theory long ago and those where the questions I struggled with (even though they can be found in the dumps but I didn’t want to memorize).
Labs: OSPF, EIGRP and OSPF Redistribution, EIGRP Stub
No new DnD
A couple of questions Question about BGP peer groups very similar to the ones in Only new questions not included in 477 by kikavich
Go through the dumps at least twice and you will certainly pass. Will move now to CCNP Switch.
Success!
@nneettwwrrookkiinngg @LuckyDuck
Unless somebody has full score in that section selecting “init State” I am 99% sure that the answer is ExStart State.
they keywords are DR and BDR and both are elected so they enter in ExStart state
“Exstart State: This state specifies that DR and BDR have been elected and master-slave relation is determined. An initial sequence number for adjacency formation is also selected. The router with the highest router ID becomes the master and begins to exchange Link State data. Only the Master router is able to increment the sequence number.”
@Anonymous and @nneettwwrrookkiinngg
When OSPF is forming an adjacency, in which state does the actual exchange of information in the link?
A. INIT
B. Loading
C. Exstart
D. Exchange
It should be B. Loading
Exchange State: In this state, OSPF routers exchange DataBase Descriptor (DBD) packets. These contain Link State Advertisement (LSA) headers describing the content of the entire Link State Database (LSD). The contents of the DataBase Descriptor (DBD) received by the router are compared with its own Link State Database (LSD) to check if changes or additional link-state information is available from its neighbor.
Loading State : In this state, routers EXCHANGE FULL LINK STATE INFORMATION BASED ON DBD provided by neighbors, the OSPF router sends Link State Request (LSR) and receives Link State Update (LSU) containing all Link State Advertisements (LSAs).
Link State Updates (LSU) actually act as an envelope that contains all the Link State Advertisements (LSAs) – that have been sent to neighbors with new changes or new networks learned.

QUESTION 253
What are two rules for compacting IPv6 addresses? (Choose two.)
A. Every 16-bit segment segment that consists of all zeroes can be represented with a single colon.
B. The trailing zeroes in any 16-bit segment do not have to be written.
C. The leading zeroes in any 16-bit segment do not have to be written.
D. Any single, continuous string of one or more 16-bit segments that consists of all zeroes can be represented with a double colon.
E. The maximum number of times a double colon can replace a 16-bit segment that consists of all zeroes is two.
F. Two zeroes in the middle of any 16-bit segment do not have to be written.
Correct Answer: CD?
QUESTION 498
What are two rules for compacting IPV6 address? (Choose two)
A. every 16-bits segment that consists of all zeroes can be represent with a single 0
B. the trailling zeores in any 16-bit segment do not have to be written
C. the leading zeroes in any 16-bit segment do no have to be written
D. any single, continuous string of one or more 16-bits segment that consists of all zeroes can be represent with a double ::
E. the maximum number of time a double colon can replace a 16-bit segment that consists of all zeroes is two
F. two zeroes in the middle of any 16-bit segment do not have to be written
Correct Answer: AC?
QUESTION 499

F. two zeroes in the middle of any 16-bit segmaent do not have to be written
Correct Answer: CD?
@Jimmy
Thanks bro for new Q
@nneettwwrrookkiinngg
From Wikipedia:
In an attempt to simplify IPv6 addresses, the standards provide flexibility in their representation. However, this also complicates several common operations: searching for a specific address in a text file or stream, and comparing two addresses to determine their equivalence. To mitigate these problems, a canonical format is defined[8]for rendering IPv6 addresses in text:
Leading zeros in each 16-bit field are suppressed. For example, 2001:0db8::0001 is rendered as 2001:db8::1, though any all-zero field that is explicitly presented is rendered as 0.
“::” is not used to shorten just a single 0 field. For example, 2001:db8:0:0:0:0:2:1 is shortened to 2001:db8::2:1, but 2001:db8:0000:1:1:1:1:1 is rendered as 2001:db8:0:1:1:1:1:1.
Representations are shortened as much as possible. The longest sequence of consecutive all-zero fields is replaced by double-colon. If there are multiple longest runs of all-zero fields, then it is the leftmost that is compressed. E.g., 2001:db8:0:0:1:0:0:1 is rendered as 2001:db8::1:0:0:1 rather than as 2001:db8:0:0:1::1.
Hexadecimal digits are expressed as lower-case letters. For example, 2001:db8::1 is preferred over 2001:DB8::1.
Q253 and Q499 are basically the same. Erase one
A. Wrong
B. Wrong
C. True.
D. True
E. Wrong (the phrasing is confusing, but implies that you can write AAAA::BBBB::CCCC and that’s wrong)
F. Completly wrong.
Q498 has identical answers but the first corrected and true as well. We have to:
-Change a little one of the other correct answers to be wrong.
-Choose three answers.
Your call..
@R’hllor Bro With you
I will delete 498 and 253 questions because same questions
I think “with a single colon.” and “with a single 0” just different 0 and colon
maybe wrong write the Q
Looks like the most common DnDs is as follows:
– Unicast Reverse Path Forwarding (vRPF)
– Access Control Lists (ACLs)
– Frame Relay Local Management Interface (LMI) Extensions
– Generic Routing Encapsulation (GRE)
– IPv6 Router Security Features
Are there any more that came up in the last few exams?

@nneettwwrrookkiinngg
I still Believe that both questions of OSPF states were right the first time. (ExStart and Loading instead of Init and Exchange). People that agree with me I will appreciate a Retweet :D
Please, when you have time, try to fix this questions as well:
Q462 is wrong and the explanation doesn’t make any sense.
Q475 doesn’t have a correct answer. (It explains that the ANS A is the correct one but VCE mark it as incorrect)
Q483 please fill the “other options” with Broadcasting and KeepAlive (something to keep answer not be that obvious)

Q295 Refer to the exhibit, which statement is true. There are typos in the answer which makes it difficult to study and remember. The answers should be:
A. RTA will redistribute the RIP routers into the NSSA as type 7 LSAs. RTB will translate the type 7 LSAs into type 5 LSAs and flood them throughout the OSPF backbone.
B. RTA will redistribute the RIP routers into the NSSA as type 7 LSAs. RTB will flood the type 7 LSAs throughout the backbone.
C. RTA will redistribute the RIP routers into the NSSA as type 5 LSAs. RTB will flood the type 5 LSAs throughout the backbone.
D. RTA will redistribute the RIP routers into the NSSA as type 5 LSAs. RTB will translate the type of 5 LSAs into type 7 LSAs and flood them throughout the OSPF backbone.
E. RTA will not redistribute the RIP routers into the NSSA.

QUESTION 565
OSPF has R1 router ID 172.18.1.1 . What happens when R1 configure with a new loopback interface IP address 172.17.1.1 ?A.
OSPF chooses 172.17.1.1 as new router ID when R1 is rebooted.
OSPF chooses 192.168.21.0 as new router ID when apply new configuration.
OSPF chooses 172.17.1.1 as new router ID when apply new configuration.
OSPF retains 172.18.1.1 as router ID until interface on which is configured goes down
