congrats @DataRT, thanks for sharing the new qs too.
Congrats DataRT.
what command did you use to ping between R1 & R4 in the IPV6 ospf virtual link sim. Did it work or did you just use the show ipV6 route on R1 to check for the loopback address of R4 in R1
@ raden
What did you mean by “Loopback0 should be the one pinged from portland on the labs” for the ospf sim. Are we to ping the loopback address or the ip address? i am a bit confused. Please explain with the command. Thank you
Just a show command “show ipv6 route” on R1 would suffice.
as tut explained on the labs section, you should be able to ping the loopback inteface of Lynaic from Portland once you have configured it.
i’ve tried ipv6 ospf virtual link on the lab, and initially, if you use “show ipv6 route ospf” on R1, there are no routes advertised. once you have extablished virtual link between R2 and R3, the ipv6 addresses of R2 R3 and R4 should appear once you use “show ipv6 route ospf” again

Hey guys, i’m sitting my exam tomorrow, will let you know how it goes.
In case anyone wants them, my answers to DataRT’s new questions:
1 – D
2 – A (256*(Bandwidth+Delay))
4 – C
6 – C
@nneettwwrrookkiinnggg this should be Q9
Question: 399

D.Bandwidth/Delay
my answer is A
do you agree with me?
i think so too, BW + delay should be it
For default behavior, you can simplify the formula as follows:
metric = bandwidth + delay

>i’ve also encountered old questions from jazzy477 last june.
>DnDs are also in all-in-on, but take note that they rearrange the choices which appear so review much.
There’s a new DnD which i encountered
Accounting -> option
Authentication -> challenge….
Authorization -> option
Radius -> utilizes udp port or something
Tacacs+ -> utilizes tcp port or something
this was not included at 31qs dnd by jazzy, but might be included on other
feeling good as i can now proceed to the second one, tshoot maybe. see you guys on the other site.
PS most updated dumps is nneettwwoorrkkiinngg v31 by page 170
Hi All,
@nneettwwrrookkiinnggg did a great job compiling all dumps into a single one.
The only little thing is that the pdf has problems with some images (Q441 for example). would you please export it using a different page size or orientation??
well, collaborating with the site, my two cents are in:
1. Where to place a Cisco IP SLA in a network
A.Distribution edge
B.Access Edge
C.User Edge
D.Provider Edge
ANS D (It will be better if it is “Service Provider Edge” instead of “Provider Edge”)
Source:
“With these requirements in mind, the Enterprise can then concentrate on selecting device pairs that make sense. In general, the source device should be the router located at the edge, or the boundary where the Enterprise network meets the service provider’s network. If there are other routers along the path that are also in the managed domain, then a device pair to source can be configured from these routers as well. Thus, users can obtain a more granular view of the service levels across the network.”

2.How EIGRP metric is calculated
A.Bandwidth+Delay
B.Bandwidth*Delay
C.Bandwidth-Delay
D.Bandwidth/Delay
Obviously A
5.Commands to configure GRE over IPSEC
A.ip mtu
B.tunnel key
C.ip tcp adjust mss
D.mpls mtu
Ans B (It should be Tunnel protection … but if it’s only one choice I’ll try my luck with that one)
I am pass route today

b. the router attempts to forward the packet along an alternate path in the routing table
c. the router flags the packet and forwards it to the next hop
d. the router sends an ICMP Time Exceeded Message to the host that sent the packet
I passed my exams yesterday,this forum has been heplful and thanks to everyone who shared the stuff.had new questions on drag and drop on Copp and Mpp
@all those who passed the exam recently can you guys please share the config commands for all labs if possible. I have a exam on tuesday.
Hi guys,
I just passed with 9xx
I had about 5/6 new questions, EIGRP OSPF Redistribution Sim with fast ethernet link (requiring distance command), OSPF Sim and EIGRP Stub Sim. Some area id’s and process id’s different, but all labs exactly as on this site. All old DNDs from dumps.
New questions:
1. Which can an EIGRP router send when a route goes into the Active state ? (actually the wording was different but i got this question). You had to give 2 answers for this question.
a.query
b.reply
c.request
d.hello
e.update
2. RIPng failing to update?
a. Firewall between routers or TCP 520 blocked
b. Firewall between routers or UDP 520 blocked
c. Firewall between routers or TCP 521 blocked
d. Firewall between routers or UDP 521 blocked
(Answer D)
3. I got the question that DataRT posted:
Host A has values MTU of 1500 and MSS of 4000; and host B with MTU of 19000 (can’t remember the exact value) and MSS of 32000 (Also MSS sizes were different between hops across link)
Question says Host A cannot talk to Host B (with diagram). How to resolve. One of the answers was ‘configure PMTUD’ which is the one I chose. Another option was to reduce MSS size of host A.
4. Which is an invalid command/keyword when configuring redistribution:
a. tag
b. access list
c. route map
d. other (valid) option
I answered B.
Also several questions reworded from dumps so understand concepts. However if you know the dumps well, it’s definitely enough to pass easily.
Good luck guys and thank you for all your contributions. If you find this site helpful, please help others when you sit the exam.
@Marco – Well done!
How many DnDs did you get and what were they?

A. INIT
B. loading
C. exstart
D. exchange
Thanks Digitaltut..Passed CCNP Route with score 920+ …Two guys shared 40 & 66 questions within last 5/6 pages…all of them were in the exam…..DND :CoPP and MPP was there ..IPV6 Router Security Featurs…GRE feature….FraneRealy Multipoint…
EIGRP Stub….OSPFV3….EigrpOSPF Redistribution…Total 60 question
I have read all the Kikavich file..they are still very valid…………………….
My CCNP Certification is Complete…..CCNP Route was my last part………….Again Special thanks to digitaltut and everyone in this forum…
@nneettwwrrookkiinnggg
This question is wrong, the answer is 240s (Flush Time) so I think you have to correct the answer D.
QUESTION 602
a question for RIPv2 how long a static route remains if the point to point interface is down.
A. 30s
B. 60s
C. 180s
D. 180s
Correct Answer: D
@Nasir
Although the adjacency is formed in the exstart state, the actual exchange of routing information is performed in the loading state. Answer B
//www. computernetworkingnotes.com/ccna-study-guide/ ospf-neighbor-states -explained-with-example .html
Note: That’s why when OSFP is full converged and all routing info is exchanged IOS logging message states “OSPF Change from Loading to full”
I want to do gns3 labs
Please if anyone has Cisco IOs please share with me fasto123 at gmail dot com
Hello Fasto,
Which IOS are you looking for?
Hello it_kid,
May you sen me the 44&66 question dump to me?
k2far4me at hotmail.com
thank you
With only 3.5 hours of overnight sleep, I sat for the exam this morning.
I got the EIGRP OSPF Redist sim on my first few questions AND I GOT CONFUSED AND SKIPPED RIGHT THROUGH IT WITHOUT EVEN realizing what I was doing. Thinking that I was now doomed to fail, I went through very disheartedly through the next 59 questions.
Yet, I passed! Thanks to all of you awesome people on this forum.
Lab: EIGRP Redist, OSPFv3 virtual-link, Eigrp Stub
The Virtual-link lab was very confusing because as soon as I took out the uneeded virtual-link between R4-R3, the neighbor adjacency went down yet the loopback from R4 would show up in R1.
Almost all questions were from the content folks have shared on this forum.
Maybe a new question:
What benefit does TTL provide?
correct answer is Loop prevention
DNDs: ipv6 access-class – traffic filter, CoppMpp, frame-relay multipoint, others that I don’t remember…
Off to Switching!
Good Job @Happy!! How much do you score without the Sim? You should have a solid exam besides that unfortunate skip.
@R’hllor
Thanks I fixed
and 240s
@R’hllor
Thanks! I scored 860+
