    Another one

    Question 1
When OSPF is forming an adjacency, in which state, the actual exchange of information in the link?
    A. INIT
    B. loading
    C. exstart
    D. exchange
    Answer: C

Loading: Should the local router require complete LSA information from its neighbor, it transitions to the Loading state and begins to send link-state request packets.

ExStart: In the ExStart state, the local router and its neighbor establish which router is in charge of the database synchronization process. The higher router ID of the two neighbors controls which router becomes the master.

Do we have answer for this anyone???

On Premium Questions Quiz, for OSPF:
When OSPF is forming an adjacency, in which state, the actual exchange of information in the link?
    A. INIT
    B. loading
    C. exstart
    D. exchange
Premium Questions Quiz says: C. exstart

    But Procyber V1.5
It says the answer is B. loading

Which one of these correct, does anyone know? Bit confusing.
    Per Cisco “Loading”
“In this state, the actual exchange of link state information occurs”

  3. Young Cisco
    November 28th, 2017

    @koki I reckon its B “LOADING”

Guys i found this here https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/ip/open-shortest-path-first-ospf/13685-13.html

    “Loading

In this state, the actual exchange of link state information occurs. Based on the information provided by the DBDs, routers send link-state request packets. The neighbor then provides the requested link-state information in link-state update packets. During the adjacency, if a router receives an outdated or missing LSA, it requests that LSA by sending a link-state request packet. All link-state update packets are acknowledged.”

As for actual exchange of information in OSPF. You can find pretty much confusing information on cisco.com…

    Exstart
Once the DR and BDR are elected, the actual process of exchanging link state information can start between the routers and their DR and BDR.

    Loading
In this state, the actual exchange of link state information occurs.

What is the correct answer? I don’t know… I would chose Exstart.

    Hello Guys,
    I just apassed with 9**.
Its me V1.4 is valid. All the questions were from it. Some of them were from the discussion on this page.
Labs were the same as on this website.
I got Eigrp Stub, OSPF EIGRP Redistribute and PBR.
Ospf Evaluation and Eigrp Evaluation were exactly as it is here.

I have vce file and the labs in pdf format too. If anyone needs help leave their id where i can send the stuff from which i studied.
And thanks to everyone on this group who helped.

PS. This is the best time to give CCNP route exam to be honest. Nit a single question outside the dumps.

@Passed @all in OSPF & EIGRP Redistribution Lab when you have Ethernet connection between R2 & R3. please correct me if I am wrong. you still need to use S0/0 on R2 that is link to R4 in OSPF area to do the distribution & F0/0 between R3 & R4 to do the redistribution and then for the packet to choose Ethernet path we include Distance Eigrp 90 105 on R2 so the Ethernet patch can be choosen over the serial path. I am right?

I read Someones comment before was mentioning you need to get the metric for f0/1 facing R3 & get metric of F0/0 on R3 facing R4 I know I need to get the metric of interface linked with R4 but I don’t think we need to do metric redistribution according to the interface on R2 facing R3. can someone please who took the exam can confirm. Thanks

    The 1.5v is still valid!
    Only one new question:

Which two features RADIUS combine(choose 2)?
    A.telnet
    B.SSH
    C.Authenticaion
    D.Authorization
    E.Accounting

not sure of the correct answer

    The simlets:
    EIGRP
    OSPF

    The simulations:
PBR – the IP was 10.1.100.2, but I added “route-map pbr permit 20”
Redistribution – the ospf id was 1 and the eigrp was 100
OSPF – the process id was 8 and the area was 14

@kkk Did you use the metric from Serial interface on R2 link connected to R4 for the redistribution and Fa0/0 metric on R3 the link that is connected to R4 or you used the metric of the interface Fa0/1 on R2 the link to R3 instead of using the metric of Serial S0/0 interface.

    Authentication and Authorization

RADIUS combines authentication and authorization. The access-accept packets sent by the RADIUS server to the client contain authorization information. This makes it difficult to decouple authentication and authorization.

    @nick
    I would chose option A.

Digitaltut has an explanation of option D but it’s a bit sophisticated from my point of view. Please find it below.

R1 and R2 are the two routers in the local internal LAN network that are running VRRP. R1 is the master router and R2 is the backup router.
These two routers are connected to an ISP gateway router, by using BGP. This topology provides two possible outgoing and incoming paths for the traffic.
Suppose the outgoing traffic is sent through R1 but VRRP failover occurs, R2 becomes the new master router -> traffic passing through R2 instead -> asymmetric routing occurs.
