@nneettwwrrookkiinnggg
There’s 30 DnDs there, surely they haven’t all come up in the exam?
Where does the EVN marks the traffic to separate different users ? (something like that)
A. on the edge interface, with vnet tag
B. on the edge, with 801.q
C. on the trunk, with vnet tag
D. on the trunk, with 802.1 q
Answer C
@nneettwwrrookkiinngg
I am Having issues with GNS files uploaded .. Long error pops up .. is there anyone having same issues or its just me ..
@nneettwwrrookkiinnggg
Thanks man your vce is awesome. I really wanna pass and proceed to tshoot
Is this DnD correct?
DHCPv6 server – IPv6 enable
– IPv6 address auto config
DHCPv6 client – IPv6 DHCP relay destination
-IPv6 address
Wouldn’t the client be the one with IPv6 address auto config?
Hi! does anyone know if there are ROUTE exam vouchers available in the philippines? Legit sellers only please
@Bonsai:
The configuration is for the DHCPv6 Relay Server: there is the server facing (connecting to the DHCPv6 server) and client facing interfaces (DHCPv6 clients/nodes). The relay server side needs an IPv6 address using SLAAC (IPv6 address auto config) from the DHCPv6 server, while the clients connecting to the relay server will only need an IPV6 address using stateful DHCPv6.
The IPv6 DHCP relay destination command is to point to the DHCPv6 server for any client DHCPv6 request.
hi guys, is it me or do we still need to configure
R2(config-router)# distance eigrp 90 105
on the eigrp ospf redist sim?
it actually pings the target dest w/o it configured.
tut says so otherwise.
i kinda know its for addtl pts, but just wanna know the bearing, just wanna hear from the previous test takers that also had this sim.
tyia
Is jazzy 94Q valid ?
@Raden
If the connection to R2 and R3 is Ethernet then we need to configure distance eigrp 90 105
@sakote, noted, thanks man
@route 300-101
please the last link you posted cant be opened. Caqn you re post it please. The major problems I have now are the DnD.
Thanks
Where can we get the 440q dump? Or is any other valid? People keep posting here to use the 440q dump, but it cannot be found. Please share.
@hola, check nneettwwrrookkiinnggg all in one at p169, it has a recent DnD section as i have checked.
@nneettwwrrookkiinnggg I’ve sent a pdf for an AcL q that was not included on your DnD section, pleas check details
do have any news about the exam ?
what labs should be solved ?
@ccnp Yes mate, the breaking news is that the CCNP exam is still available at your nearest test centre. The labs that you must solve are all of the labs that come up in your exam.
What kind of idiotic post is that. Can’t these people take the time to read? This forum is absolutely rammed with all the information you need. You just need to take the time to find it.
@Marco
listen I want to know what labs today at the exam.
if you do not have any information why answer an idiotic post.
This isn’t funny at all. :)
@ccnp:
You will just have to read through previous pages to get any information you need; perhaps, be specific in your request so that you can get help.
@DataRT
I read the previous posts and realized that the labs can be
ospf eigrp redistribute
ospf virtual link
eigrp sim
ospf sim in this lab may change process id
@DataRT
Could you tell me how many balls will be evaluated each lab?
the site digital says 80-100 points for each labs, before there were 4 labs
now we have only 3 labs and 60 questions
Cool. Just expect any three out of the labs you just listed in the exam. But also remember that the OSPF process IDs, EIGRP ASs, IP addresses and CIDRs, Interface types, e.t.c might change in the actual exam. Understanding the concepts and functions of the commands, used in these labs, should be enough to lead you to success. Good luck man!
@ccnp:
It is 3 labs and 60 questions overall.
For me, I am not too worried about the points on each lab, all I want to do is make sure I get all correct because you need a 100% on the labs and DND to ensure you pass.
My advice to you is focus on understanding each lab and aim at scoring 100%, since the labs have been the same for some time now, according to previous test-takers.
@DataRT
So the PBR lab doesn’t cone up at the moment? or the SHOW IP EIGRP TOPOLOGY ALL-LINKS lab?
One thing that stumped me on the exam was a Drag and Drop for Frame Relay LMI extension types and what they do. I did not see that anywhere online but maybe I missed it. Some of the extensions:
Virtual circuit status messages
Multicasting
Global addressing
Simple flow control
@DataRT
thanks for explanation
@Passed
This DnD is definitely in the dumps. Congratulations on passing
@ccnp:
You are welcome.
@Passed:
Did you take the exam today? Can you please reveal more information about the questions you got?
@Passed
first of all congratulations !
could you tell me, what labs you were solving in the exam ?
does ospf and eigrp eval still appear on exam? still haven’t covered those yet.
@raden:
Those who have taken the test don’t seem to talk about them so I think they aren’t added on the test. But it is worth taking a look at while studying!
@DataRT
yea, kinda anxious about those 2 items, will take a scan a bit later, at least I don’t wanna cram it at the last minute.
There is a post by route300-101 on page 170 here that covers most of the topics. Helpful to know about redistribution, EIGRP stub, and configuring new OSPF areas, as well as access lists/port numbers, DHCPv6 relay, EVN trunks
Hi Fellas, I passed my route exam yesterday with 8XX marks.
Lots of questions from the file I posted on previous page here. Thanks to @Raden as well
I got a bit low marks because there one issue with my Simulation.
Anyways, here is the gist:
DND (no new DND)
LAB: EIGRP Stub, EIGRP OSPF Redistribuition and OSPF Simulation
**NOTE: EIGRP Stub was looking like old school sim, means really old graphics and this lab took copy running-config startup-config command, so good thing that my OCD kicked in :)
*****NOTE: OSPF Sim:
There was an issue in this lab, part one was easy, I configured ospf area 24(1 in simulation example at tut) with process id 77. Added networks with 0.0.0.3 Wild card mask and made Portland stub. Everything worked at this point but as soon as I would run “area 24 stub no -summary” command at Armani, the routes would disappear from Portland. I tried a lot of stuff , stub,nssa, nothing worked. Probably I had to configure a default route from Portland towards Armani, but I already spent too much time on it so I moved on after making the Armani without stub.
Questions I got:
13. A network access serve using TACACAS+ for AAA operations receives an error message from the TACACS+ server. which action does the network access server take next ?
a. It attempts to authenticate the user against RADIUS
b. It restarts and attempts to reconnect to the TACACS+ server
c. It rejects the user access request the
d. It checks the method list for an additional AAA option
Ans: D
14. multicast application must be accessible between sites, but not be accessible outside of the organization. Based on the scoping requirements, the multicast group address for the application will be allocated out of which range ?
a. FF00::/16
b. FF08::/16
c. FF02::/16
d. FF0E::/16
Ans: B
18. VPN support for IPv4 and IPv6 address families. Which command enables a VRF that supports these requirements?
a. Router(config-vrf)#route-target 004:006
a. Router(config)#ip vrf CUSTOMER
a. Router(config)#vrf definition CUSTOMER
a. Router(config-vrf)#rd 004:006
Ans: C
19. what are the two correct statements about enable secret and enable password command?
a. the enable password command has a strong encryption algorithm than enable secret
b. if both commands are missing from the global configuration, vty lines use the console password
c. the enable secret command is backwards compatible with more versions of IOS
d. the enable secret and enable password commands must be used together
e. the enable secret command overrides enable password
Ans: B, E
20. Which feature
20. Which feature is supported with stateful NAT64 ?
a. IP multicast
b. NAT44 and NAT64 on the same interface
c. VFR [ not VRF]
d. FTP and ICMP on an application layer gateway
Ans: C
*This one had VFR in the answers, so i choose that
htt p s : //drive . google . com / file / d / 1t6ss4Vjzc12WVtUcDASAzGX5TX5yRotU
Q56,53,52,46,45,44,43,42,39,40,34,24,37,21,22
So my 2 cents:
There were 5-10 new questions [Sorry I cant recall any because of the stress I was in]
Study a lot, don’t rely on just the questions here. Practice lab commands and concepts.
I appreciate everyone who shared their experiences as I am doing. Please keep up the good work. See you fellas at Switch !
@Zam2U yw,
regards to your ospf sim, is it normal that routes will not be installed on portland except for connected ones? the only way to verify the solution is working is you will be able to ping Lynaic loopback at portland.
@Zam2u
congrats and see you on the next one.
@ Raden,
I agree, but the ping was unsuccessful as well. :(
Also in eigrp stub sim, summary address 10.2.0.0 255.255.0.0. worked for me to reduce it to 2 subnets
@Zam2u:
Congratulations man! All routes should be gone except for the default route injected because it is a Totally Stubby Area. Did you check for a default route after entering the area 24 stub no-summary command?
Hi
please advice me how to check lab ospf sim
Ping from Lynaic to Portland = from Lyanic i need set ping 192.168.4.5
is it correct ?
Yes. Try Portland to Lynaic and vice-versa.
hi @ccnp
loopback0 should be the one pinged from portland on the labs
@ DataRT & raden
thank you for support
@Zam2u
congratulations! which dump the remaining questions come from? Is Kikavich all in one valid too?
@Zam2u
Nice one! What DnDs came up in your exam?
@everyone,
all dumps: kikavich v4, all-in-one, jazzy dnd, dexter and tut & 41 july Qs, should be included on the newest dumps networking has uploaded on pages 169-170.
@ all:
