@Syn @Bunns did ur exam go well ?
Also, don’t remember letters as the answers. They moved the answers to new letters/positions in the test.
@syn congrats my friend. for the questions, were they the same to what was posted on the forum or were they newer?
@Syn congrats & thx for the help
They were a mix of Digitaltut, Kikivich, and the newer questions that we discussed. There were like three maybe four that were newer but I was shook taking the test after the blown lab and the power outages. Glad they had a UPS on the computer because I thought my life flashed before my eyes when the room went dark.
There were a good number from the questions we posted here. I will try to get the DnD up.
@syn thanks. hopefully you can remember the newer ones that we did not cover. I’m assuming that you got the frame relay lmi D&D
DnDs:
1. mGRE, MSS, IPSec, keepalive, Tunnel Key
2. Int S0—-> encap frame relay——–>Int S0.1 multipoint———->frame relay map 192.168.1.1
3. AAA. Options were Radius, TACACS, Authentication, Authorization, Accounting
4. Drawing a blank on the last one.
@rnfl
did you get questions you pasted in the exam?
pls clarify
thanks

@rnfl & @all
iam preparing a pdf file containing all posted questions and answers and i will share it with you as soon as @rnfl confirms my above question.
thanks
@Curious
Hate to say it but Tuesday of last week Cisco made a ton of money because they released new questions and set the test at 60 questions. If all you studied were the dumps you were screwed. The number of new questions seems to be more than enough to make a test by itself. The vast majority seems to be new MC questions. There seems to be a few new DnDs. Glad I am in before they do a new set of Lab questions.
Just done and dusted. Labs are all valid dnd’s half new half seen before here, mcq’s … thanks to the last few pages here because most questions were new and from them plus about half a dozen i had never seen before. That said due to study, and common sense I could usually work out the likely correct answer. Big ups for the owners of this site and $15 well spent. Also thanks to the posters here especially around the new questions. I will try later to give some examples of questions I had later. …
which condition prevents the establishment of a DMPVN tunnel between two spokes ?
a. HSRP is enabled on the spoke devices
b. IPsec is enabled on the spoke devices
c. the two spokes are behind different PAT devices
d. the two spokes have different tunnel keepalive settings.
answer is c.
https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/ios-xml/ios/sec_conn_dmvpn/configuration/xe-3s/sec-conn-dmvpn-xe-3s-book/sec-conn-dmvpn-dt-spokes-b-nat.pdf
• If one spoke is behind one NAT device and another different spoke is behind another NAT device, and Portr Address Translation (PAT) is the type of NAT used on both NAT devices, then a session initiated between the two spokes cannot be established.
One example of a PAT configuration on a NAT interface is:
ip nat inside source list nat_acl interface FastEthernet0/1 overload
Had a frame relay multipoint dnd that I had never seen and struggled with no idea if I was correct. It was steps and commands to configure it so brush up on that
@ and, those are good ones!, I remember them being on there…has anyone found the vnet question!?
@Hallfawi
No, these are compiled from 477Q and previous comments exam questions
@anonymous you probably got the same frame relay question as Syn. Interface, encap, sub interface and ip
Yep sounds like it. @Madmartigan yep I had the vnet global question
@Madmartigan
I had the vnet global question as well.
@anonymous @Syn what is the vnet global question? Sorry hehehe i’m brained dead now.. being studying all the material all day today. Any other pointers from you guys? My turn to pass this thing hehehe
Is this the one?
After reviewing the EVN configuration, a network adminstrator notices that a predefined EVN, which is know as “vnet global” was configured. What is the purpose of this EVN? Or what is the purpose of ‘vnet global’?
A. It defines the routing scope for each particular EVN edge interface
B. It aggregates and carries all dot1q tagged traffic
C. It refers to the global routing context and correspondants to the default RIB
D. It safeguards the virtual network that is preconfigured to avoid mismatched routing instances
Answer: C

I wanted to ask Mario. I was on the T-shoot board to see what was up and there was a Mario there. Are you that Mario or is there a shadow clone there?
@Syn its a clone lol because i’ve helped in the ccna r/s ccna security and ccda forums. Once im done here i’ll probably run into that Mario lol..
So was this the question you were referring to on the test?
Yep…….there is a good chance you will see it.
Don’t make the mistake I made. Practice the labs. I can’t believe I blew a lab but I was so worried about the MCQ I didn’t give the attention I was planning to the labs. I even called myself out on it this morning and this past weekend but I still passed and that is the most important part.
I was considering for a while doing the CCDA/CCDP and still have CCNA Sec on the peripheral certs to do one day but aren’t on the main radar. I want to finish up CCNP…..maybe do CCIE written but get Data Center and later on Collaboration. Somewhere in all that learn Python and maybe Ansible.
@Syn i’ve already completed NP security and 2 tests in datacenter but want to finish up the r/s NP and IE this year.
I’ve already mastered all the labs and most of the d & d. I’ve also been prepping on the questions. I feel comfortable on those, its just the mcq i’m actually stuck on. I’ve been studying both ROUTE and SWITCH in parallel. So, if all goes well friday, i’ll probably take a stab at SWITCH next friday.
@Mario
I may hit you up later for Security and definitely Data Center. I hope to do T-Shoot soon.
That is bold and ballsy. Switch wasn’t that bad. I took it fairly recently. The were some long ass labs. I read that the Switch questions were revamped on Terrible Tuesday as well. Good luck if you attempt.
We should keep going to IE. I want to try the IE written at least.
The vast majority of MCQs should be out now. I think I saw two or three that weren’t listed but don’t remember them. Nothing stood out about them.
Yep no problem.
So, from all the list that was made of all the questions. Would you say 90% were on the test?
hello everyone, my exam is next week i will try my best to memorize all the new Qs and then i will mention here.
@Sandy, i will take an exam next week same to you if u got new questions please share me

Hi all, passed the exam woo hoo!!
@someone I never saw any of those questions but:
All Lab’s here are still valid
About half the DnD’s are new, one that included tacacs, radius, authentication, accounting and authorization as options.
About 10 questions I had never seen before but most were ok to work out what the answers were.
That said I have sat the equivalent ccnp route (before it was called route) exam about 9 years ago and have been working as a Network Engineer for longer than that so I have quite a bit of learned knowledge, plus study etc… so don’t take this test lightly it was one of the toughest I have done.
I have a terrible memory for detail on these sorts of things but…
Some details I can remember:
New questions I have not seen before and I struggled with\still don’t know the answers:
Where do you enable RIPng?
interface config
something config
global config
router config
something else config
something about what has been included in eigrp for ipv6 choose 2
spf algorithm
then a bunch of other options … sorry not much help I know

oh btw there is 60 questions now as well
@Syn did you get the AAA question asking about local authentication before it over to radius or tacacs+?
Also, did you 1-2 questions regarding secret password used on the vty connections if a password is not set ? and the other overwriting the enable password.
@bunns congrats! The question how to enable ripng is in config-rtr interface. Its on the list of questions I believe.
As for the AAA, seems lime you and syn got the same D&D for that. What others did you get? Also, with all the questions posted in the forum, did you more of them or were the other questions pretty much from the old kikavich and all in one?
@Mario
Yeah random older ones most are from this site …mainly the “most common” and the “new updated” the USD$15 was well spent especially as it helped me nail down the LABs the get them done fast and not bog me down. If you have all of those down pat and you understand most of the concepts you can get enough of the questions right to pass. By the sounds of it you will knock it over ok Mario
@Syn thanks a lot for taking out time to explain it to me. I have already started studying the new questions. Congrats on the success of your exam.
@Bunns congrats on your exam. Planning to join the premium membership on this site as well as it helped a lot when i took my TSHOOT exam. I wanted to know if they also have the new questions that have been posted here already and what advice will u give as regards paying the $15. Thanks for your help
yep I had all the same DND’s as Syn
@Curious Thanks…
IMHO the $15 is well earned by the hosts just for them hosting this blog alone. But as for benefits for premium the online labs and practice tests are better than cisco approved paid ones costing over US$100 (believe me i purchased both) and they have really good explanations on most questions not just dumps so you actually learn the content.
Good luck
@Mario when will you test?
@Bunns Thanks a lot
@rnfl im taking it tomorrow
@bunns thanks i feel confident i’ll pass
@Mario good luck
