i know its randomized and the amount of Sims and questions change. i get that, but does anyone have any idea, ballpark what the value of the SIMs are in relation to the entire grade in the exam?

@digitaltut, do we have to practice V1.0 sims as well or just V1.1 is fine?

I’m going to take an exam in December, can I pass the exam if I study v1.1 1-4, Sim, and Part 4-11?

  5. MoSalah
    November 30th, 2023

I passed yesterday. 94 questions, including 4 labs:
BGP: Configure 1 router with BGP -> 2 neighbors, 2 loopbacks advertise and BGP router ID.
OSPF: BDR/DR with OSPF priority 0 and. 255
VRF: Identical to the Lab here. Tunnel0 already had the VRF configured, tunnel protection was available in the config and only had to be bound on the Tunnel0-Interface.
Trunk & LACP: Task 1 was to configure the PC access port to “spannig-tree portfast”. Then you should fix a problem on the trunk between SW10 and SW20 so that PC1 can ping PC2. There was no “switchport mode trunk” configured on the trunk and the VLAN100 was blocked on the trunk with “switchport trunk allowed vlan 1,10” – after I allowed also VLAN100, the ping went through. 2nd task was to troubleshoot the LACP port channel between SW20 and SW30 – the 2 ETH ports were not assigned to the port channel. Here, too, it was possible to test with a ping from PC2 to PC3. I only had access to SW10 at the bottom left and 3 PCs for testing. Topology identical to the one here.
Almost all questions were known or similar to the questions here. There were 2 Python drag&drops that were completely new to me.
Otherwise, many, many thanks to the folks at DigitalTut for your excellent work. I prepared with the composite quizzes and the EVE-NG labs for 4 weeks, but this was my 2nd ENCOR certification!

I passed this exam last week, I studied
    ENCOR v1.1 Questions – Part 1 – 4
    ENCOR Questions- Part 4 – 11
    ENCOR 350-401 (expired)
    Great thanks to Digitaltut guys!
I got just a few questions that are not in the pool, some were re-phrased.
4 labs: eBGP Neighbor Sim, Rapid PVST+ and LACP Sim, OSPF DR BDR Sim 2 and VRF Configuration Sim. This VRF Sim was a challenge to me, something was different. Source, Destination and tunnel IPs were already set, but tunnel0 interface was not in CORP vrf, I had to put it there and once set, all IP info was deleted, had to set source, destination and tunnel IPs again. Then tunnel got up, I could ping remote source from each router. When I followed up with static routes for Vlan 100 and Vlan 101 I could not ping from any router the remote IP:
    R10#ping vrf CORP 10.101.2.1 source e0/0.100
    R20#ping vrf CORP 10.100.1.1 source e0/0.101
I decided to put both Vlan interfaces into CORP VRF and then I could ping remote sources.

good luck to everyone! study hard and you’ll pass it for sure

    Hi,

    Passed my exam 01/12.

87 + 4 LABs (OSPF filtering LSA 3 with prefix-list, BGP, TRUNK, LACP, STP, VRF and IPsec)

A lot of questions of products, configuration, SD-ACCESS, Overlay, SD-WAN, DNA, Programability/automation. There are some tricky ones much specific of capturing packet and analyzing everything.

    @Jimbo
Could you please show the commands for the vlan?

  15. Mhd
    December 2nd, 2023

I passed the exam on 01.12.
    I got 87 Q + 4 Labs.
    Ebgp, vrf, ospf prefix, Lacp.

Ebgp and ospf prefix were the same as digitaltut but different remote-as and ip Adresse.
In the ospf prefix lab, The configuration to permit 0.0.0.0/0 was already configured.

The vrf and Lacp lab tasks were different.
vrf lab : task 1 troubleshooting the tunnel 0 , it was not configured at all.
Task 2, protect the tunnel by ipsec Profil.
It wasn’t any task to configure the ip static route vrf.

Lacp lab: task 1 utilize spanning-tree 32 bit long path cost.
Task2 troubleshooting the trunk. ( check the int configuration, port wasn’t configured?
Task3 troubleshooting the lacp. ( port channel , on interfaces wasn’t configured at all, allow vlan also should be configured)

    I studied v1.1 and v old part 4 – 11.
I got about 20 questions that were totally new to me and didn’t see them in digitaltut.
A lot of questions about 40 were in digitaltut but in another form. If you learn logic, you can answer them

  16. Yes
    December 3rd, 2023

@mhd pls could explain what you mean by Lacp lab: task 1 utilize spanning-tree 32 bit long path cost.

  17. Mhd
    December 3rd, 2023

@Yes by default the spanning-tree path is short 16 bit, just did “spanning-tree pathcost method long“. This command will change the path cost from 16-bit to a 32-bit value

Verify using sh spanning-tree summary: the pathcost method should be long.

  18. AA
    December 4th, 2023

I passed the exam on 01.12

I could say that approximately 5-8 new questions but closely related to those provided from digitaltut.

    I had these labs:
VRF configuration – where destination and source, both were missing.
eBGP – with different AS numbers, but same tasks.
OSPF DR BDR – I don’t remember any differences here.
Trunk UDLD & LACP – the topology was like this, I was asked to fix the trunk between SW10 and SW30 (VLAN 100 was missing from PC2) and portchannel between SW10 and SW20, the ports were not configured like part of the channel group.

I hope I’ll help someone with this.

    Thak you digitaltut!

  22. Yakoubou
    December 5th, 2023

    I passed the exam Today.
    I got 87 Q + 4 Labs.
Labs: Ebgp, vrf IPSec, ospf BD/BDR, Trunk UDLD & LACP.

OSPF DR BDR (Sim 2): no difference, except area numbers

eBGP Neighbor: IP subnets and AS numbers have changed

vrf lab : task1 troubleshooting the tunnel 0 , missing tunnel destination config.
Task2: protect the tunnel by ipsec Profile.
Task3: configure the ip static route vrf.

Trunk UDLD & LACP lab: task1 troubleshooting the trunk to have PC2 ping PC1.
sh run int e0/0 missing all trunking confings and allowed vlans
    Task2 . config udld aggressive on e0/0
Task3 troubleshooting the lacp. sh etherchannel summ
port channel missing port members, missing channel protocol, interf missing all trunking confings

I had a Cisco bootcamp, but it wasn’t enough. So Digitaltut practice questions helped me a lot.
    I studied all V1 and V1-old.
I got approximately 15 questions that were totally new to me and didn’t see them in Digitaltut.
    I finished on time
    What I can remember:
MC questions: difference between a RIB and a FIB, QoS, LISP proocol, Cisco SD-WAN, Cisco SD-Access,
Wireless, Cisco DNA, NAT, ACLs, VM on linux server, SNR=RSSI+Noise, DHCP option 43, Roaming
EEM syslog patern OSPF interface down, ISE, vlan 222 remote-span, netconf
Configure the logging synchronous command under the vty, AAA, Wireless enable AAA override
Which privilege level is assigned to VTY users?
    JSON data syntax
OAuth 2.0 within REST APIs authentication
    list = [1, 2]

Drag and drop: Asembly-Puppet, LISP, vNIC-OVA-VMDK-VMX, DHCP (DORA),

One MCQ that I have never seen was NAT config for a web server to allow access from the Internet

I don’t remember seen any Multicast questions.

    Hi ALL

I passed and a big thank you to Digital Tut Premium I have used your premium service before and you always deliver the goods!

I studied ENCOR v1.1 Questions – Part 1 to 4 and all the labs. All the questions seems from PART 1 mostly and I didn’t seem to get any new questions if I did they weren’t difficult.

    Labs were
    Rapid PVST+ and LACP Sim
    VRF Configuration Sim
    eBGP Neighbor Sim
    OSPF & Prefix-list Sim

ALL the same except for the LACP the port-channel was setup as an access port. On the Prefix sim route 0.0.0.0/0 le 32 was already in the configuration.

THANKS Again and good luck to everyone else!

    1. what is the result of this python program (3*5)%

Python modulo operation is used to get the remainder of a division. The modulo operator(%)
    a % b
Here, a is divided by b, and the remainder of that division is returned.

    Rapid PVST+LACP
    eBGP

    VRF Sim

There were some present on digitatut but they were either rephrased or with unseen answer choices. I studied all parts 1-11

    Got passed today.

I got 91 questions with 4 labs. almost all questions are from digitaltut. I got 3 up to 4 new questions that are not on digitaltut.

The labs are 2 eGBP labs with the same topology and different AS numbers, vrf lab, and LACP.

The first eBGP lab AS numbers are 100, 200, and 300, and the second eBGP lab AS numbers are 10,20, and 30. both of two tasks of the labs are similar and also similar to those on this site.

    The vrf lab tasks are:
    — Tunnel 0 is configured only with ip address, so i configured tunnel source
interface and tunnel destination IP address
—- Task 2 is similar to this site
    LACP tasks:
The first task asks the spanning tree to support 32-bit value –>” spanning-tree
    pathcost method long”
The second task was about EtherChannel.

I studied ENCOR v1.1 Questions – Part 1-4 and Part 4-11 and Encore 350-401(expired) and all the labs.

out of the 91 questions only half of it were the ones I familiarized. better study ENCOR 350-401 (expired).

The only difference with the sims is at was asking me to configure spanning tree to support 32-bit value?
    spanning-tree pathcost method long

good thing I was calm and understood some of the questions. That would not end well if I panicked.heheh
