Hey guys i am about to start studying for the CCNP encore how long do you think it will take to prepare couple of months?

Just took my test and it was brutal. Waiting for my test results but I don’t feel confident. 87 questions and 4 labs. There were definitely some new questions but could be for trial purposes. Recommend going through all the old and new questions.

Says I pass. I think its official!!!

brutal did you prepared the 17 new questions added on the 20th? how many new questions came?

I passed the exam, I found 87 questions, 4 labs rapid pvst+ and LACP sim , VRF sim , eBGP sim , OSPF and Prefix-list sim. All the labs were in ENCOR v1.1 and there were about 10 to 15 new question exams I had never seen before.

I recommend you to read all old and new exams. Read all here

Labs sim Like here 90% to 95%, some labs may only have the IP address or area number changed.

where to find studying materials for the new ENCOR v1.1 ?

Hi all – passed ENCOR v1.1 about a week ago – I was recertifying so wasn’t coming to this new. Spent about two months studying and doing questions from this site. Three of my lab sims were exactly the same as the ones described on Digitaltut. The fourth lab was just a slight variation on the OSPF DR/BDR sim. All drag and drops were covered by this site and I would say that there was only one or two questions I hadnt seen before but I was able to make an educated stab at the answers for those anyway.

I passed the test yesterday. All the questions were from the newer version 1.1 and part 4-11. All the labs are in as well. Thank you @digitaltut

i passed ENCOR 1.1 exam a few days ago after studying for the last 5 months and did all the questions on digitaltut.com many times.
I thought i was very prepared for the exam cause i knew almost every questions, but i have to admit that i was very surprised when i saw that at least 15 questions on the exam, was totally new for me.
Fortunately the labs were exactly the same as the ones described in the 1.1 section of digitaltut.

I remember there were new questions about Netconf and Wireless.
The rest of the questions, kind of 80%, were from ENCOR 350-401 (expired) cause its questions are still available, and a 5% from the ENCOR v1.1 section.

I almost run out of time because of new questions, so better be fast to respond to known questions so you have time to focus on the unknown ones.

I am now confused with the latest two comments above. Musonda says all Qs were from version 1.1 part 4-11, whereas Vocodex says 80% Qs were from expired list. Digitaltut, can you please confirm if studying version 1.1 part 4-11 is good enough to pass? Thanks

Are there any new questions on the exam, and do we have to learn the old labs

Got failed today. I have 87 questions, almost new. Only some questions are covered in version 1.1 and part 4-11. The labs are the same. I do not have enough time to finish the last lab Rapid PVST+ and LACP Sim.

@mp2005 Sorry i made a mistake writing down the comment.
What i meant was that 80% of the questions was from V1.1 part 4-11 and kind of 20% questions that i have never seen.

just Pass exam today, about 15 new Qs not stated on Digitaltut.
most of the Qs are from Parts 4-11, about 10Qs from V1.1
Labs are:
LACP Sim [ only can configure 1 switch, other two switch is greyout]
VRF Configuration Sim [ samelab]
OSPF DR BDR Sim,[ different lab but the topo are same]
eBGP Neighbor Sim [ same as lab]

what are this question people say are from part 4-11, are this from version v1.1 or older one and where are the laps.

I took the test and some of the intens were left pending.

Honestly, you never expect to have a lot of programming questions.

Can anyone clarify information questions come from the encor 350-401 (expired) section too or only from sections part 4-11 + ENCOR v1.1 part 1-2?

Please can anyone share with me materials to prepare for ENCORE 1.1. I have been studying for a couple of month now.

I took the test today and passed.
By the way, I didn’t study ver 1.1 part 2.

I think 30% of the questions were new to me, and I think there were some questions around QUESTION. But if you understand part4~part11 well, you can solve them.

The three SIM questions were EEM, BGP Configuration Sim (R2 configuration), and OSPF Authentication Sim. All three were exactly the same as what is on tut.
Also, “Tab” and “?” could also be used.

There were 93 questions in total, and I had about 40 minutes to spare.

Hello @reglus – can you elaborate on the “EEM” sim? I don’t see an EEM sim on digitaltut.

I took the test today and passed. I practiced v1.1 part 1,2 and 3 and also parts 4-11. I think i got about 15 or so new questions that i didn’t see before. I got the LACP, VRF, eBGP and the OSPF summarization SIMs. In the LACP sim I could not get the port channel working. I tried every possible channel-group mode (Active, desirable, auto and On), with no luck. I even tried configuring “switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q” first. We have no access to the remote switch. I finally gave up and moved on.

I took the exam today and waiting the result. most of the questions are from v1.1 and some on Old ENCOR. i got 4 labs (VRF, Trunk UDLD & LACP, OSPF DR BDR and eBGP(only AS numbers are changed)).

I took the test today and passed. I practiced v1.1 parts 1,2 and 3 as well as parts 4-11. Many of the questions are still there, but there are also many new ones. If you learn the logic, you’ll answer the other questions not covered by digitaltut correctly too.

I passed my exam on Monday. I practiced v1.1 parts 1, 2, 3 and parts 4 -11. I am not sure I got up to 5 problems that I haven’t seen on Tut. My labs were Trunk UDLD & LACP Sim, eBGP Neighbor Sim, VRF Configuration Sim, and OSPF DR & Summarization Sim.

I see that you already said that you had labs, but when I asked some of my colleagues about SIMS in their ENCOR exam, they said that there are no Sims.

My question is, have you take only ENCOR exam or maybe specialization like ENARSI where you have this Sims? Are you CCNP after the ENCOR exam or you need to pass another exam as well?

I’m rather confused, so thank you in advance for you time to explain me!

I passed this exam recently, beyond grateful.

got 4 sims:
Trunk UDLD and LACP, eBGP Neigh, VRF, OSPF (check the old OSP sim but different topoloy)

did study v1.1 questions part1 to 4, old questions from part 7 to 11
many of my questions were not in those list

end of the exam indicated ‘the exam is being verified’; result was given after a few hours

Could you please let us know where else you have referred / studied for Encore V1.1 exam apart from Tut site questions ?

Yes, Please provide more info since more comments indicating that just referring Tut materials aren’t enough.
