    @Ban
    PC1 and PC2 on netflow sim

  4. Hello_Again
    November 22nd, 2024

    @Mimo Congrats to you as well on passing this exam!

    Regarding the Netflow Sim vlans for PC1 and PC2- do we just need to add what’s in the topology to the switch?

  5. LarryT8
    November 22nd, 2024

    @Mimo – do we need to update the switch with vlans for PC1 and PC2?

  6. Hello_Again
    November 22nd, 2024

    Hi @Mimo, congrats on passing!

    For the Netflow SIM- You mentioned the vlans for PC1 and PC2 –

    We need to add them from the info in the topology?

  7. mimo
    November 22nd, 2024

    @Hello-Again
    on the sim here you only need to mirror all the traffic from vlan12 on the switch but on my exam, he asked to mirror the traffic from PC1 and Pc2 without mentioning the VLANs.

  8. Hello_Again
    November 22nd, 2024

    @mimo, thanks for the info.

    Can you show us what the difference in configuration was?
    Additional source line configuration on the switch monitor sessions?
    Sorry, to bug!

  9. mimo
    November 22nd, 2024

    @Hello_Again
    That’s exactly right

  10. @Ban
    November 23rd, 2024

    So basicly just an additional config line “monitor session 11 source interface e0/1 both” just the source interface diffrent instead of the e0/1 we do e0/2

    monitor session 11 source interface e0/1 both
    monitor session 11 source interface e0/2 both

    6 SIM labs
    1/6
    Part I = Configure OSPF on 1 of 3 routers – use network statements.
    PartII = summary route for area X. (‘area X range 10.20.32.0 255.255.224.0’ or such)

    2/6
    LACP – eth0/0-1 + Po1 are all configured as switchport mode access. LACP won’t be able to be configured until you set encapsulation dot1q. Add switchport port mode trunk

    PVST – Vlan 30 needs to be root in certain topology. something like vlan 30 root primary

    3/6
    ACL – modify extended ACL to allow routes. Instruction is to do not remove config. (go into acl edit ‘conf t \n ip access-list extended 100 \n’, and add ’25 permit any any’)

    CoPP – limit Telnet from to specific bits per sec. You need ACL, class-map, policy-map and set control plane service.

    4/6
    BGP on 1 of 4 routers – Use address family statements. (network of Lo100 = 10.0.0.1/24, so ‘network 10.0.0.0 255.255.255.0’)

    5/6
    VRF – Configure Tunnel 0 to extend vrf from R1 to R2. Use static routing to have vlan1 (on Switch1, connected via R1) be able to ping vlan 2 (on Switch2, connected via R2). Do not forget to add the static from R1 to Sw1 for the vlan1 subnet! (on Sw1 use ping source )

    6/6
    NetFlow – configure ip flow input and output under eth0/x

    SPAN – configure local monitoring sesion on switch. 2 lines basic config

    IP SLA – Configure simple icmp-echo towards some IP.

    I just passed! there is absolutely new questions around 6-7, %90 of the questions covers here if you work really good bros, labs was ok;
    VRF Configuration Sim same
    eBGP Neighbor Sim 2 as numbers was different like 65100 65200 65300
    LACP & Root Bridge Sim po1
    OSPF Summarization Sim 2 /18 summarization to area 50 and network statement
    Access-list & CoPP Sim Permit telnet traffic from 192.168.24.124 host, Limit traffic to 10,000 bps,rest is same.
    NetFlow Sim
    in this lab in task 3 there was a task which is asking for a basic http get to X ip address, rest is the same.
    Thank you for digitaltut and you guys!

    Passed the exam.Thank you DigitalTut! Awesome!

    – 6 Labs 58 Questions

    6 LABS
    1. ACL CoPP Sim
    2. VRF Configuration Sim 2 (R1 need to configure so BE CAREFULL, Configure the VLAN111 in the Switch Dont forget!
    3. eBGP Neighbor Sim 2
    4. LACP Root Bridge
    5. OSPF Sum Sim 2
    6 NetFlow and Netflow 2 Combined!

    New Q (for me)
    – Error code 202
    – KeyValue_Verify = True
    – Drag and Drop (PIM Sparse Mode) NOT PIM Dense Mode

  14. @Ban
    November 25th, 2024

    Passed the exam. Big thanks to Digitaltut!

    6 Labs 52 Questions

    CoPP & Access-list sim (had to allow telnet for the CoPP)
    LACP & Rootbridge sim (same as in digitaltut)
    VRF Configuration Sim 2 (copy paste same as digitaltut)
    OSPF Summarization sim (had a /17 to summarize otherwise same as digitaltut)
    Netflow sim 2 (same as digitaltut just IPs,VLAN and interfaces diffrent)
    eBGP Neighbour Sim 2 (same as here just the AS where 1,2,3)

    As for the questions there where a few maybe 4-5 that where not here but the majority are. Make sure you understand the scripting and even if you dont have the answer here try to logicaly make sense of the code and what its asking you. 4-5 maybe where Drag&Drop all from Part1-5. 2-3 questions where from the old ones. But as long as you rock the LAB’s and get maybe 40-45 questions correct i think you’ll be ok.

    Good luck!

    Passed today..

    6 Labs, almost identical to the ones in here. OSPF sumarization, BGP with Address family, CoPP for ICMP, VRF tunnel with switches (the new lab), etc. Nothing too different.

    52 Questions, almost like 50% of them were new TO ME. I have to admit that I’ve only studied Encore 1.1 Parts 1-6 and Old questions part 8-11. So theres the posibility that some of my “new questions” were from old parts 4-7.

    Thanks digitaltut!!

    @Ban,

    “OSPF Summarization Sim 2

    Task 1. Configure OSPF according to the topology using these requirements:
    + Use Process ID 10.
    + Use Loopback0 for the Router ID.
    + Advertise all networks into OSPF.
    — Do not use network statements under the OSPF process to accomplish this task.

    Task 2. Configure a /17 summary route for Area 50.”

    Regarding to this, in the exam only R20 we can access or do you apply it to R30?

    Thanks

  17. @Ban
    November 26th, 2024

    hi @Anonymous, yea only on R20 you dont need to put cfg on other routers and frankly you can not access the other routers, and also i could use the network statements in my sim, there was no limitation saying i couldnt. So i guess i had OSPF Summarization sim 1.
    doublecheck the ip ranges and areas they might differ from the sims here
    Regards!

    6 Labs 58 Questions – 120 minutes

    eBGP Neighbour Sim 2 (same as here but had different AS numbers)
    CoPP & Access-list sim -(my lab not asking for EIGRP, asking for OSFP, but the concept will be the same, ACL for Telnet, )
    LACP & Rootbridge sim (same concept, but diffente vlan, different port, the preconfig is desirable with shutdown, you need to change it to lacp, channel-group number different)
    VRF Configuration Sim 2 (almost the same, vrf created on mine)
    OSPF Summarization sim2 (different ID number, port and IP. /19 on mine (10.40.32.0 255.255.224.0)
    Netflow sim 2 (again almost the same, just 2 task, taks 1- finish the pre-config flexible netflow, taks2 – schudule the ip sla to run now and Indefinitely)

    58 question, around 20 questions new and I have to filter and guess the answer. I don’t see it in part 5 or 6.
