For using the EVE-NG, can I use the Community version or only the Eveng pro works? If pro, where can I find the pro for free?

I got EVE-NG working. I imported the labs. What is the difference between initial and solution files respectively?
When I click start on a router/switch, I get the error, “Failed to start node (12)”. Can anyone give instructions? Thanks.

Finally for the labs working. It was a bin file issue. However, if I click on any node, I dont get the console window… Any suggestions.?

90% of question from v1.1 part 1-5 , but i did study also for part 4-11.

I have got my results saying PENDING: what does that mean ?

Passed today with 95% score. All questions were from v1.1 1 – 5. No new questions.

All labs valid.

COPP (ACL OSPF instead of EIGRP)

I sat for the exam today, my result is saying PENDING.

Failed this exam today. Only 7 or 8 questions are from ENCOR v1.1 Questions. The rest was old and about 20 new questions. SIM questions are still valid. €380 is gone! looking for reliable dumps!

you will need to become a full member to understand how to resolve the lab sim. Don’t go to that super overwhelming test without it!

@Pasha, sorry to hear, but I really doubt that much questions came from Old + New Q… Is this your first attempt? Sounds really strange (not saying it’s not), but it goes against what everyone else is reporting… I know someone who took the exam last Friday and it all came from v1.1 for his exam!

@digitaltut, do you have any info on that? Are we facing a shift on the exam after Cisco Live?

@mcrae, yes, the Premium Subscription includes the sims. Even EVE-NG files are available to simulate the labs on your PC if you want to.

@dkccie ..I agree with you.. Pasha sounds very unrealistic…contrary to what everyone is saying..he is the only one stuck with super new and super old questions?

@MickyMouse, hey bro… Probably it’s not his first attempt. Or, he is an internet troll… anyway, most of the guys are reporting otherwise (including a friend from work, who took his exam last week), so I’ll keep on studying 1.1, and maybe take a quick look on 1.0 (old questions)… well… hopefully its just going to be all fine.

Can anyone tell me if we fail exam first attempt then after how long we can book second one ?

Do we need to study all the sims ? and do we need to save the config on the exam and does tab completes the syntax on the exam

looks like i have very older questions in my exam. But there were also new questions. I’ll make a second attempt next week. Hopefully no more those older questions next week

I am doing my last day review. Exam will be tomorrow. I have reviewed twice Part 1 to Part 5. Read only once 4 to 11.
Just doing the Labs practice only today.

@rosa Did you prepare parts v1.1 1-5 and V1.0 parts 4-11? Did you also get questions from V1.0 parts 4-11 in your exam?

@neteng I couldn’t recall which questions were from which parts but yes, I also reviewed parts 4-11.

I had a long list of Cisco certs completed through the years coming from one company to another, until I migrated to another country and doing similar role as Sys and NE. I am turning 40 this October. Through the years been working hard and adapt to whatever those companies are asking me to do. All is good and well.

As I posted 2 days ago, I’m gonna do the exam after I have studied Parts 1 to 5 twice ( took me 4 weeks to do due to work/life/kids ) and part 4 – 11 once ( took me about another 4 weeks) nibling and understanding the questions diligently.

As soon as I sat on the day of the exam, I was informed on the computer screen it would have 88 Qs and 4 simlets similar to what JC and Rosa had. If I remember correctly, I had the following:

1. Rapidpvst + lacp (this one caught me off guard as task 1 was asking somewhere along the tagline of pathcost which is relatively easy instead of the rapid pvst. )
2. VRF
3. OSPF prefix list ( Dang! Accidentally hit the next button, without answering this! At this point I had slouched back and had my hands of the wheel.)
4.eBGP (different IPs/ASs)

I am halfway through when I had sim #3 above, and after I missed that… I was totally devastated.. then comes a few unfamiliar questions.. and toying with the idea of accepting my fate. Like I did whatever I can using my experience and tut. I was thinking maybe its the universe guiding me through.. lots of things going through my head on what career decisions should I take after this; should I stay as technical or go through management/leadership or similar role. I had almost used all my time and hit on submit button about 4 minutes before my time ran out.

As the wheel spins while it reads and waits for my result, I have prepared myself and thinking already of going to a nice massage.. at least paying myself for gruelling hours of studying Encore 1.1. Then results came in, alas! For whatever reason – it is a pass! What a sigh of relief.

I thought missing one lab without even typing anything would be enough to fail the exam. Good grief it’s not the case.

Maybe a few lessons learned, I took too much coffee, berocca, then another coffee and lastly redbull that same day before my exam.

I received my certificate in my email soon after. Wether I’m gonna go for CCIE LAB Ent. I don’t know at this stage yet… I just wanna savor this win and let it soak for a while. (EVE NG, CML and Dell 820 512R 80CPU are waiting though in my room)

My Exam is tomorrow, can we use tab/question marks during the labs ? is it mandatory to save the config ?

My Exam is tomorrow. Just want to know what happens if I completed statements correctly but forgot to check ping test or input verification commands? Deduct some points?

@neteng I don’t have so much time. Just reviewed 4-11 twice to complete Composite Quizzes.
I used shortcut like int, po. never tried tab/question(sorry cannot help you).
The lab was easy I just used “show run” to find all the info I need.

LABs are Valid however seems like most questions where from old questions or either new…please also go through old questions
