I passed my exam Yester the Lab Was OSPF, BGP, VRRP and the new is called VRF corp R10 R20

Hi,

my premium membership expired on the 13th and was supposed to seat the exam on 18th but had to reschedule it for 24th. just want to know if there is any update on the new questions or SIMs (last update was on the 9th)

Passed ENCOR exam today. I find many questions that were not covered in the section 4 – 11. I don’t remember all the questions, but there quite a few (about 15 – 20). So, please be prepared for the new questions to show up in the exam. I got BGP, OSPF, HSRP, and one new lab that was not covered in the premium. Thank you Digitaltut!

I’m poor with memorization. What technique do you guys use to memorize quickly?

Regarding the new sim in the exam, you have to ping PCs (3 PCs will be there) and there will be 3 switches, I guess. You will have access to SW10 to make the changes. There will be a port channel between SW10 and another switch (don’t remember then name). you have to configure the port channel between two switches using LACP. On PC1 or 2 you will see a “duplex mismatch” error, this will tell that e0/0 interface on SW10 needs full duplex. I hope other people can provide more information on this SIM. I don’t remember everything about this new SIM.

@Joshi , practice as many times as you can Composite Quizz and you’ll be fine .

@Jhonnywblue – Maybe the Q’s not in 4-11 were from the Part 1 – 3 which are all put in the relevant topic sections on the right side ? :)

Unfortunately don’t remember any, but looks like we have one exam with new questions.

Passed today, couple of new questions related with ACLs (easy ones)
I had 4 labs, BGP as-override, HSRP, OSPF DR/BDR, OSPF single area
DDs were cloud vs on prem models, DHCP DORA, ansible vs chef, SD access components

Overall, i took me exactly 1h 56min to complete all questions
Hence good time management is a must
Finally, Surprisingly enough when I finished my exam, I didn’t get the exact score, just pass!
On the score report, also it provides just generic percentage on the various learning sections!

Just finished the exam. Wasn’t even handed the pass/fail report. Is this normal?

@stan You need to study all if you have time. Questions comes from all. Quiz is random pick from pool of questions and you can miss.

You need to “clear ip ospf process” in order to take effect the R3 becoming DR. in my exam, R20 is the DR so i need to do the re-election

Hi Folks, Glad to share I shared the exam yday 29th of May.
– Around 15 new questions I got in which 8 were related to basics so if you have you will crack it, rest of the questions exactly from Digitaltut, so thanks to Digitaltut :)

– These were the SIMS I got;
VRF – https://www.digitaltut.com/vrf-configuration-sim

All the SIMS were same except only two;
– OSPF SIM were same just to use network command
– VRF SIM was little different, there were no discussion about TECH VRF so you don’t need to touch e0/1 and e0/2 of R10 and R20. Just you will need to configure CORP vrf inside the LAN side of both ( e0/0.100 and e0/0.101 ) and configure the tunnels without ( tunnel vrf TECH ) and then add static routes for LAN on both with CORP VRF

Please Be very careful on SIM. Do NOT anyhow click/click TOO FAST on the network diagram. SAVE the config whenever you have completed a task. Dont SAVE only when you have COMPELTED ALL tasks. Just in case.

There seems to be ~5 new MCQ. But not tough.

TIME Management is Very Important. Really NO TIME to Relax. Must maintain the momentum & focus on the question & Move forward.

I notice the Questions seems testing our Perservence…e.g. after a few Tough questions, a few Easy questions, then Tough questions again…

Guys, Please help me understand the following during exam,

1. Does LAB sims give options when a ? mark is made while attempting to configure ?
2. Does Drag & Drops need to be in same order or they just need to be under corresponding headings ?

Yes. in LAB SIMS, ‘?’ will show commands/options available
Drag & Drop need NOT to be in order.
But if question ask about Sequence, e.g. AAA Authentication login sequence, then, must put the options in sequence

Which LAB is GRE? I don’t see in premium section.

Hi, I tried BGP config sim

“Verification

R1,R3#show ip bgp -> see Loopback0 of remote routers.
R1 must ping Loopback0 of R3 successfully.”

I follow “BGP Configuration Sim” but it’s not working. I cannot ping loopback0 or R3. I can only ping the interface IP. Can help me on this? :(
