take exam yesterday. manage to pass. i review all the question and dnd here.

    all multiple choice is here
encounter 10 dnd including the new dnd regarding lisp.
    4 sims encountered
ospf with 5 routers, not participate to DR/BDR then summarize the routes on R2
    bgp allow as
    glbp
    span netflow

    premium helps alot. thank you!

  15. @AlexCCNP
    May 9th, 2023

    Hi @Ms.Minchin
SIM ospf with 5 routers, could you please give more details? thank you

  16. Ms.minchin
    May 9th, 2023

    hi alexccnp,

i cant remember the exact value.. but there were 5 routers, router 1, 2, 3 is connected via area 0, router 3 and router 20 is connected via area 2 ithink. then router 2 and router 10 is connected via area 3. task 1 is r2 must not in dr/bdr. task 2 is R2 must summarize all the routes. something like that.

  17. Sh Sh
    May 9th, 2023

The Spanning tree SIM is about 3 switchs connected to each other and two of them have a faulty port channel of a double link
Each switch is connected to a pc
You have accessibility only to one switch and PCs
    Task 1
Enable PVSTP : Just apply one spanning tree PVSTP command
    Task 2
Trouble shoot faulty port channel and confirm with ping
    Task 3
Trouble shoot/ make sure another 2 pc on other link to ping eachother

    Good luck

Just passed today 94 items including 6 drag and drops (access-list / cloud vs on-premise /automation) and 4 SIM
    EEM
    Span and Netflow
    OSPF different area with Authentication
    And the the BGP sim
Watch out for this BGP sim as I encountered the current configuration for both the interface and bgp config of 3 routers are not matching with the topology forming a triangle. Though the task is only to configure R2, I had to change the ip addressing and bgp config of the 3 routers so that ebgp neighborship between them will be formed. Only additional task on R2 (AS50) to advertise the /32 Loopback100 and 200 to AS 40 and 60

  19. Dennis
    May 9th, 2023

    @Ms.minchin

I understand that the new sim ospf R2 not to participate in DR/BDR is to let their ospf prio = 0. How about the summarization? Is it by using range and providing a larger subnet mask?

  20. Aron
    May 9th, 2023

Please could you send How did the sumarizartion?
@digitaltut where is this new lab? Please update It.

  21. lucky1
    May 9th, 2023

    @ciscokid1
I read part4 – 11 but spent time on the composite Quizzes 102. I suggest everytime you see drag and drop take time to understand coz I saw a lot of it on my exam.

    @Aron, @regz20

R2 and R10 not to participate on DR/BDR
    – If I remember correctly, R2 and R10 are connected to each other. So I used “ip ospf 30 network point-to-point”
    – I don’t recall the need to summarize it but should be done by “area x range command”

R3 will be DR for specific Area
    – I used “ip ospf priority 255”

Not sure if the steps I did is correct but hope it gives you an idea what to expect.

  22. ciscokid1
    May 9th, 2023

lucky1, many thanks for your response, i just didnt want to learn and revise over 800 questions but will go through everything on premium several times before exam.

PASS!!!!!!!!!!!!! thanks digitalTut 94 many D&D and 4 SIM (EEM,SPAN & NetFlow Sim, OSPF Authentication with Different Areas Sim, y new SIM)
    NEW SIM
you have to ping from PC3 to the others
I had not seen it before.

What I did was put the vlans associated as root primary spanning-tree, I had not configured the interface VLAN 200 in SW2 and put vlan 1, 200 as native trunk

With this I was able to ping between the PCs (it worked).

    Si alguien es de PerU que me escriba a j4toccs4 @ gm4il. c 0 m …. cambiar el 4 por a

  30. @regz20

Any idea on timeframe for when the new sim being pointed here will be made available by @digitaltut ? Have to give the exam in last week of May

  32. Juventino
    May 10th, 2023

just passed today was quite hard tbh with just around 2 Weeks of learning and no clue of the all the new cisco SD bubble, code snippets and coding questions. But seems like it was enough :-)

    had 94q including 4 sims:
    BGP – as-override
OSPF SIM – no network command
    EEM
New OSPF Sim – R1,R2,R3,R10 and R20 (i used the range command as I were asked that only one route should be received inside area0

I learned the questions part 4-11 and had also a look at the d&d and automation questions.

  33. Dennis
    May 10th, 2023

    @Juventino

Have you used “ip ospf prio 0” or “ip ospf network point-to-point” for the new OSPF sims for excluding DR/BDR election

  34. XDR
    May 10th, 2023

I recently passed the exam. I had a new OSPF lab… same topology that other people described, but different tasks. You have to filter prefixes between areas configuring the ABR routers. To achieve that you need to identify the ABR, complete the prefix list already created and apply it form the interface.

  35. Jay
    May 10th, 2023

    @XDR

How to filter the prefixes? is that the summarization or stub?

  36. regz20
    May 11th, 2023

Passed today!!! Thank you DigitalTut for the worthy premium!!!

A total of 94 questions and all are found here.

    4 sims:
    -Archive Logging
    -VRRP
    -Port-Channel & Native Vlan
    -BGP neighbor sim (draft)

  37. Mina
    May 11th, 2023

    Passed yesterday.
4SIMs (BGP with as-override, OSPF without using the “network”, HSRP and new SIM with 3 routers).

    New SIM:
had R1, R2 and R3 in the triangle and 3PCs connected to each in vl300. Only access to R1 and PCs.
Task1: troubleshoot trunk port connected to R3 in order ping from PC1 to PC3.
In the configuration you can see that this is the access port. I configured it to trunk port with dot1q encapsulation (because I’ve got log that there is on the other side dot1q) and add vl300 to it. Made vlan 300 as native vlan (just in case) with the command “switchport trunk native vlan 300”.
Task2: troubleshoot connection between R1 and R2 in order that PC1 can ping PC3.
The portchannel was configured, I put ports between R1 and R2 into this portchannel and add “channel-group 1 mode desirable” (because I’ve got log that the other side is auto). Also added on portchanel and trunk vl300 and native vlan 300.
And just in case add “spanning-tree vlan 300 root primary”

I dont know if this was right way to do it all but all 3 PCs could ping each other.

    Hope it helps! good luck!

    May 11th, 2023

Team on a group they posted a new sim
    Corp vrp

extend the corp vrf between r10 and r20 using tunnel0
protect tunnel0 using the preconf profile
conf static routung on r10 and r20…

    anyone know about this

  39. Zaw
    May 11th, 2023

    Passed today! Thanks DigitalTut

A total of 94 questions and all are found here.

    4 sims:
    -GLBP Configuration Sim
    -OSPF Configuration Sim
    -BGP as-override
    -BGP neighbor sim (draft)

  40. ENCOR
    May 11th, 2023

@zaw did you encounter any new Sims or labs that are not here..

Many people saying threw is a new sim

  41. GreenAcres
    May 11th, 2023

Passed yesterday! Couldn’t have done it without Digitaltut… seriously, thank you.

94q’s like everyone else… Just get premium and put in a lot of time to study and you don’t have anything to worry about.

I had 4 SIMs, and one of them was the new 5-Router OSPF SIM others have mentioned.. R1, R2, R3, R10, and R20 I think. You have two tasks:
Ensure R2 and R10 don’t participate in DR/BDR election in their area (ip ospf priority 0)
Ensure R3 becomes DR in it’s area (ip ospf priority 255)
    That’s it.

Now I need to set a calendar reminder for 2 years from now so I remember to start doing Continuing Education credits far enough in advance to not need to re-test next time :-)

for me, I don’t see any new lab.
But I see new BGP Lab that one very similar with BGP neighbor sim (draft).

    @cisco

I studied only only part 4-11 but also Architecture Questions – Drag Drop Questions 2.

  44. bartoo
    May 12th, 2023

    had exam yesterday…
4 SIMs: GLBP, OSPF without network, BGP as-override, new BGP (draft) – all valid
most of questions from 4-11, around 10-20 not found here (but I may be wrong), but similar to the ones here
Premium membership pays off as always
    thx @digitaltut

  45. Juventino
    May 12th, 2023

@Dennis I used the comand area 1 range 10.2.0.0 255.255.0.0 command or smth like that. Not sure if its correct but I could see that the routes on the backbone router were getting reduced and just one route to the subarea was created which at least fullyfilled the request :)
