I work at an ISP (MPLS Core) and it’s really hard to understand the automation topic/questions. As network engineers, how do you study these topics?

    Got 3 labs

    1. Fix Portchannel + Native Vlan on the Portchannel + Setting one switch as secondary for a Vlan range

    2. GLBP (glbp ip, glbp priority, glbp preempt delay).

    3. Config Archive + Netflow (netflow was already configured, you were asked to enable it on an interface for transmitted traffic, ip flow ingress).

A few (maybe 5) drag and drops (nothing new here) and 2-3 code snippets (nothing new here).

In general, there were a lot of questions from the “Architecture” part (Wireless, Wireless Controllers, SD Access, QoS, MAC, TCAM, FIB, RIB), many AAA and ACLs. Got a few questions about Python, JSON syntax, a few about OSPF/BGP and a few about VMs.

I got around 10-12 questions which were either new or changed to a great degree (Python libraries -> cURL, Postman, ncclient, requests. something about DNA Authentication API -> helath status, vlan names, acces token, issues that are logged. A question about logging discriminator asking to filter a certain log message).

All in all, it was a tough exam and I barely got away because of the labs.

Studying the Official certification guide is nowhere close to passing the exam.

I’ve passed the exam today. There are around 7 out of 98 questions that are new from me but most are in the dumps. Had 3 Lab Sims: LACP/Native VLAN/PVST+ sim, HSRP sim(same set of config with the VRRP sim here) and Archive-logging/Netflow Top-talkers sim. Good luck on the future exam takers!

Hello everybody. I passed the exam yesterday, 01-23.
    Total 98Q, 4 labs.

Labs.: EEM, PORT CHANNEL, OSPF and BGP.

I can safely say that 80% of the test questions are here on Digitaltut. Just study the contents well and practice the composite quizes and you will be successful.

    @Digitaltut thank you very much.

    Thank you.

Hello friends, many of the digital tut questions are in the exam, but the pool is 500, so you should study.

Regarding the Labs, these are the same as those in the exam

Personally, the one for OSPF, VRRP and BGP appeared.

98 questions, divided into 85 alternatives.
(many from SDWAN, Wireless, VRRP, HSRP, Lisp,RIB, FIB, overlay and underlay, and some from DNA, Netconf and Rest)

    10 drag and drop
LISP, ETR, PITR, NETCONF, CLOUD vs OnPremise and OSPF vs Eigrp
    thanks DigitalTUT

    Hello guys
i went for the exam today.
i got lab about GLBP, MONITORING, and i forgot the last one
I got 98 questions in total.
I failed the exam but to be honest 90% of all question are from here. I did not study correctly.
    I should have studied more.
    Good luck to everyone

I passed the exam today. The labs are same but there are a lot new questions.
Most of the new questions are made to deffer from the book explanations. What I mean is that you know the technology but they wrote the answer in other words, which is really difficult for foreigner to catch the difference. As someone said some of the questions are rewritten in other words but with same result. OSPF lab was the original, not draft. Be carefull with BGP lab. The answer is in the comments
    R2(config-router)# address-family ipv4 / don’t forget this, otherwise “as-override” don’t work.
    R2(config-router-af)#neighbor 192.168.1.3 as-override
    Good luck!

    VRRP with timers
IPSLA/FLOW/SPAN all in 1 big sim
All SIMS very similar to those on here
    Good luck everyone

There are maybe 2-3 new questions not in here.

    Same with Dasho.
    OSPF without authentication

IPSLA/FLOW/SPAN all in 1 big sim

My result was pending until now (after 24 hours). Do you know when i will get the score?

    Lab 1: IPV4 and IPV6 connectivity
Lab 2: VLAN configurations on L3 Switches
    Maybe those are from CCNA.

  37. ENCOR
    January 28th, 2023

I passed the exam! I got probably 10 new questions about VRF/AAA/ACL/DNA most of them easy if you know the concept but couple of them were really hard for me.
    I got three LABs:
    1. HSRP (same here with no authentication)
    2. Archive/Netflow (same as here)
    3. Port-channel/RPVST+ (almost the same very simple / need to set LACP active on one of switches on both ports then set root secondary for ST)

Please follow this instruction to prepare yourself for the exam:
    https://www.digitaltut.com/how-to-learn-and-prepare-for-the-exam

I went through all questions (600+) two times and then took Composite Quizzes for 15+, then review the ones I answered wrongs three times…
I also took one of Udemy courses which really is not required to pass the exam but I wanted to get familiar with mostly automation/DNA.

Thank you so much digitaltut and the community…really really helped me to pass the exam.

    3 Labs : GLBP, NETCONF/ARCHIVE, LACP/RSTP ( same as here)

  43. Anonymous
    January 28th, 2023

    @Roronoa
Composite is a random test out of 600+ questions and even if you do 10+ times there is still chance you miss some questions so follow the preparation guide to cover all questions and make notes to review later and then do Composite 10+.

I also did Pass4***, it has 620 questions which 99% are covered here and maybe 5 new related to MPLS/MULTICAST which I don’t think you need them.
One problem is that I saw lots of questions with wrong answers and sometimes confuses you so it is better to focus only on one source…
    Good luck!

What is the minumum to pass the exam? CCNA was 82.5% as I remember. In the composite questionns is 90%. Also, if every question is equal to every question in the percentages? For example, if Sims or Drag and Drob, are with more percentages, than ussual QA?
    Thank you in advance @digitaltut
