Any information about the test labs?

Had 3 sims today, 1st write a EEM script for loopback interface if it get admin shut, make it up again. 2nd – create OSPF neighborship without network command, and make the link point to point. 3rd – BGP sim – make the two remote sites reachable to each other through bgp. 98 Qs, got few new questions too. better ready with all labs,

last update from tut on jan 3rd that it will take about 2 weeks for the update. so wait for least until after mid jan for the updates.

Note (11th-Jan-2023): We have just added the OSPF Authentication Sim (Draft version) and the Monitoring Services Sim (Draft Version) from the information posted on this site and other places.

Just passed my exam. 98Q inc. 3sims (BGP,EEM,OSPF) OSPF lab about P2P network,BGP was to connect site 1 to site 3 and you have a router in the middle that you need to config(only R2 can be config.), R1 and R3 are in same AS connected to R2(R2 is in dif. AS). The point of BGP is to be able to ping from R1 to R3 networks. EEM applet is to config an script when someone shuts down the Lo0 int (Admin) then it needs to turn ON… Hope it helps good luck boys. I recommend understanding all the topics.

Reading the @robi1020 post, maybe the solution regarding the EEM Sim could be anything as following. I’m not sure if the commands are correct totally. Please, check.

1. Configure IP SLA on the Router to monitor de Loopback:

ip sla 10
icmp-echo <>
timeout 5000 //how long to wait to receive a response (in milliseconds)
frequency 10 //how often the test is performed (in seconds)
!
ip sla schedule 10 life forever start-time now
track 10 ip sla 10 reachability

2. Configure EEM :

event manager applet EEM_Loopback

Got a OSPF Sim, the BGP SIM, and the VRRP sim. test was 98 questions. good luck

I took the exam yesterday and failed. Had the BGP sim but you were only allowed to configure R2 and the sim on this site has you configure r1 and r3. Also had HSRP and OSPF P2P w/o network command which are both on this site. I see VRRP mentioned alot but I don’t see a sim for it on here?

After research, it appears the new BGP sim where you are only allowed to configure R2 should be able to be accomplished using the AS-Override command on

Hi, just passed the exam moments ago. I would say that although there are few new questions, there is nothing to worry about. I have spent less than one week (mostly last weekend) to refresh my knowledge on this topic, and went through the list of questions several times (the Premium section really helped me, I did the Big Quiz more than 10 times and never got below 92%). There were 3 98Q, 3 SIMs, but I only did 1/3 of one SIM and skipped the other two. Some new questions are easy (if you understand the concept, like Python script), others are trickier and I was not sure at all.

You might think that I am actively working in this field, but no, I did the exam only for recertification. I haven’t worked with Cisco devices for a long time. So just learn the current set of questions here and you are good to go.

Yes, ENCORE is enough to re-certify your CCNP.

I’d really appreciate your help clarifying this for me…I am CCIE Data center lab certified and its up for renewal in a month….I have been able to earn 40 continuing education (CE) credits…will passing ENCORE be enough to re-certify my CCIE?

New Labs, a few new qns.
Lab 1.0
A. Bring the Port-channel between DSW1 TO DSW2.
B. Make sure DSW2 is the 2ndry root switch.
(the port towards to ACSW1 was part of port channel PO1 which was used towards to DSW2, so remove the PO config pointing to the ACSW1)
C. Vlan10 should be untagged from DSW1 to DSw2

Can anyone tell me whether the Lab SIMs in the exam have the option to use ? to see available configuration options or do you have to know the whole command to enter it?

@MP, The Lab Sims doesn’t have the “?” to help you. You have to know the commnads. I think to remember the “TAB” works to complete the words of the commands.

I read on another Digital Tut forum that only 5% of the questions are from Digitaltut can someone please confirm. Sleepless nights

jes the quesions are still vaild ,

for the lab ,it is same with normal ,you can see the configration and use Tab to be sure with commands.
I recomend to learn well all question Part 4-Part 10 and the question under ENCOR 350-410topics ,they are stil vaild .

IPSLA/SPAN/Netflow are all the configuration necessary on that lab all 3 technologies on the same lab?
