Question 1
Explanation
Private autonomous system (AS) numbers which range from 64512 to 65535 are used to conserve globally unique AS numbers. Globally unique AS numbers (1 – 64511) are assigned by InterNIC. These private AS number cannot be leaked to a global Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) table because they are not unique (BGP best path calculation expects unique AS numbers).

Question 2
Explanation
If MTU on two interfaces are mismatched, the BGP neighbors may flap, the BGP state drops and the logs generate missing BGP hello keepalives or the other peer terminates the session.
For more information about MTU mismatched between BGP neighbors please read: http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/ip/border-gateway-protocol-bgp/116377-troubleshoot-bgp-mtu.html
Question 3
Explanation
Notice that the Administrative Distance (AD) of External BGP (eBGP) is 20 while the AD of internal BGP (iBGP) is 200.
Question 4
Explanation
Private autonomous system (AS) numbers which range from 64512 to 65535 are used to conserve globally unique AS numbers. These private AS number cannot be leaked to a global BGP table because they are not unique.
Question 5
Explanation
BGP Neighbor states are: Idle – Connect – Active – Open Sent – Open Confirm – Established
Question 6
Explanation
BGP peers are established by manual configuration between routing devices to create a TCP session on (destination) port 179.
Question 7
Explanation
Below is the list of BGP states in order, from startup to peering:
1 – Idle: the initial state of a BGP connection. In this state, the BGP speaker is waiting for a BGP start event, generally either the establishment of a TCP connection or the re-establishment of a previous connection. Once the connection is established, BGP moves to the next state.
2 – Connect: In this state, BGP is waiting for the TCP connection to be formed. If the TCP connection completes, BGP will move to the OpenSent stage; if the connection cannot complete, BGP goes to Active
3 – Active: In the Active state, the BGP speaker is attempting to initiate a TCP session with the BGP speaker it wants to peer with. If this can be done, the BGP state goes to OpenSent state.
4 – OpenSent: the BGP speaker is waiting to receive an OPEN message from the remote BGP speaker
5 – OpenConfirm: Once the BGP speaker receives the OPEN message and no error is detected, the BGP speaker sends a KEEPALIVE message to the remote BGP speaker
6 – Established: All of the neighbor negotiations are complete. You will see a number (2 in this case), which tells us the number of prefixes the router has received from a neighbor or peer group.

I am a paid up member for ROUTE and yet cannot see any BGP questions. Could you please ensure these questions are available otherwise what is the point of paying to become a premium member?
Here are the latest dumps:
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B21TuNHP-x2dc2U5MUlNOXFkd2c?usp=drive_web&ddrp=1
How come there is only, one BGP question? I am also a premium member but can only see just the one.

Update this shiznit.
Hello folks
Please someone who took the test recently (No spammers) please confirm the dumps that we can trust or if the questions in this site are correct.
Not only for me, maybe for all of who will take the test.
Q8. Is it just me or does anyone else feel that B ‘as_path’ pre-pending is a better answer than A’MED’.
Q8 B seems to be correct
Q8 should be AS_Path.
Need questions for all this answers. Please share something…..
Hello Team,
I would like to thank you for the advises and that you share your experience, I recently pass the route exam :D….
I study with the Official cert Kevin Wallace, CBT nuggets (nothing that you cannt find for your own in a torrent) and with this site.
I can say that I found a couple of new questions and a new Frame relay drag and drop that is not here:
SVC —— A circuit that provides temporary on-demand connections between DTEs
DLCI—— A locally significant ID
PVC ——-A logical connection comprising two endpoints and CIR
LMI ——- A signaling mechanism for frame relay devices
FECN—– An indicator of congestion on the network.
But this does not mean you will not pass the exam for 2 questions.
Please do not pay for dumps or believe in guys who post “new dump” or “I have the new dump”, or “I failed the exam”, those guys should be rape and kill!!!!!!
Anyway, hope you pass the exam and share your real experience for the other exams.
can anyone send me dumps at pro6151954 at gmail dot com
I’m not sure about Q8, but answer may be A (MED). The question asks about making decision between links and we can find in OCG next statements:
“The name Multi-Exit Discriminator actually describes its function to a great degree.
With a dual-homed design, at least two links exist between an enterprise and its ISP. The
enterprise can announce to the ISP a value (MED) that tells the ISP which path into the
enterprise is best. As a result, the ISP can discriminate between the multiple exit points
from that ISP to the enterprise”.
But I am confused by the mention of two AS in the question, so I am not 100% sure.
Hi Guys!Do you know AS-PAth attribute of BGP? I found this

Q 9. Can anybody explain the question about format of IPv4 converted to IPv6?
Q9. Explanation
IPv4-compatible IPv6 addresses are IPv6 unicast addresses that have zeros in the high-order 96 bits of the address, and an IPv4 address in the low-order 32 bits. They can be written as 0:0:0:0:0:0:A.B.C.D or ::A.B.C.D, where “A.B.C.D” represents the embedded IPv4 address.
Q9. Explanation
Also see this:
The IPv4 address of your border router is 192.168.99.1. Derive your 6to4 prefix from your IPv4 address by converting the decimal components of the IPv4 address to hexadecimal and then prefixing “2002” to the resulting hexadecimal numbers. So the 6to4 prefix for the IPv6 nodes in your network is 2002:C0A8:6301::/128.
